GAD Planning and Budgeting FY 2027
The SKWD GAD Focal Point System (GFPS), together with the HR representatives, conducted a two-day GAD Planning and Budgeting FY 2027 on September 28β29, 2026, at the 3rd Floor, Multipurpose Hall, SKWD Main Office, Tacurong City.
The activity aimed to strengthen SKWDβs commitment to gender-responsive governance and ensure that gender and development concerns are effectively integrated into the districtβs programs, projects, and activities. It provided an opportunity for the committee to review the implementation and accomplishments of CY 2025 and the ongoing GAD activities for CY 2026, assess existing gender issues, concerns, and gaps based on organizational mandates and the needs of clients and stakeholders, and identify appropriate interventions to address these concerns.
The committee also reviewed applicable Harmonized Gender and Development Guidelines (HGDG) results and Performance Indicator Monitoring and Evaluation (PIMME) findings to determine areas requiring improvement and to develop more responsive and inclusive programs. Monitoring and evaluation indicators were likewise formulated to ensure that the proposed interventions under the 2027 GAD Plan and Budget (GPB) are measurable, relevant, and aligned with SKWDβs gender-responsive objectives.
During the two-day planning session, the participants collaboratively formulated, reviewed, consolidated, and finalized the 2027 GAD Plan and Budget for submission to the appropriate reviewing authority.
With the guidance of the GAD Focal point, Engr. Jose D. Tabuga, Jr., MPA, the committee aims to continuously improve, strengthen, and expand GAD programs and interventions that are responsive to the diverse needs of employees, clients, and stakeholders. It further seeks to promote an inclusive, equitable, safe, and gender-responsive workplace and service environment, ensuring that no individual or sector is left behind in the delivery of programs and services.
