The Provincial Accounting Office, under the leadership of Ms. Clarissa G. Baluma, through the Bohol Provincial Environment Office, successfully conducted an advocacy awareness program on Zero Waste. This initiative is in line with Presidential Proclamation No. 760, declaring January of every year as Zero Waste Month, and in compliance with Republic Act No. 9003, otherwise known as the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Leonilo C. Lafuente for generously sharing his knowledge and expertise, as well as his valuable time and effort, as resource speaker on the topic: “Sustainable Waste Management: A Strategic Approach Towards Environmental Stability.”

Through small yet consistent efforts beginning in our offices, we can cultivate lasting habits that ripple outward, creating larger environmental benefits and contributing to a more sustainable future. 🌿

The Provincial Accounting Office successfully conducted the Pre-Auditors’ Training on Regular, Alternative, and Infrastructure Procurement. The training aims to equip pre-auditors with essential knowledge to ensure that all related claims are supported by accurate and complete documentation, thereby expediting their processing and release.

Special thanks to Mr. Ferdinand Ligan, Designated Head of the Audit Division, who generously shared his knowledge and expertise during the training.
