The economy of Bohol recorded a 3.9 percent growth in 2025, slower than the 9.0 percent growth posted in the previous year. The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Bohol was estimated at PhP 206.37 billion in 2025.

All major industries continued to expand, and, in 2025, Services posted a growth of 4.2 percent. Agriculture, forestry, and fishing posted a growth of 3.2 percent while Industry grew by 3.1 percent.

Bringing essential government services closer and making public transactions more convenient, Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Bohol โ€“ National ID Team participated in the One-Stop Shop for Government Services held on 21 to 23 September 2026 at the lobby of Bohol Provincial Capitol, as part of the 2026 Civil Service Month Celebration of Provincial Government of Bohol.

The three-day activity brought together various government agencies and offices in one venue to provide accessible and efficient services directly to the public. As part of the whole-of-government approach promoted through the One-Stop Shop, PSA Bohol established a co-location booth to provide essential National ID services to constituents visiting the Provincial Capitol. The National ID services were delivered by Registration Kit Operator (RKO) Meshell B. Salutan, who handled the National ID booth throughout the activity.

In celebration of International Identity Day 2026, Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Bohol highlighted the continuing development of the National Identification System, particularly the integration of National ID Authentication Services (NIDAS) in government and private-sector systems. With the theme โ€œMy Identity. My Shadow. Never Apart,โ€ the celebration underscored the importance of a trusted and secure identity in facilitating transactions and improving access to essential services.

As of 28 February 2026, a total of 1,282,131 individuals in Bohol were registered in the National ID System, representing 90.76 percent of the provinceโ€™s total population of 1,412,726, based on the 2024 Census of Population. This milestone reflects the continuing efforts of PSA Bohol to expand National ID registration and ensure that more Boholanos have access to a reliable proof of identity.
