Provincial Cooperative Development Office - Bohol

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇 𝟐𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, 𝐁𝐫𝐠𝐲. 𝐋𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐲, 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐩𝐞, 𝐁𝐨𝐡𝐨𝐥

The Provincial Government of Bohol successfully conducted the “PGBh Service Caravan”, reaffirming its commitment to bring essential government services closer to the grassroots. The activity provided a platform to deliver accessible, responsive, people-centered services to communities across eight barangays in the Municipality of Calape, Bohol.

Beneficiaries from 𝐁𝐫𝐠𝐲. 𝐋𝐚𝐰𝐢𝐬, 𝐂𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐠, 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐜, 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐲, 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐠-𝐚𝐧, 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐠, 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐫𝐠𝐲. 𝐋𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐲 received a wide range of services, including free medical check-ups, dental services, legal assistance, tuli (circumcision), haircuts, distribution of seeds, veterinary products, free school supplies for the host barangay, and distribution of family food packs, among others. Adding to the activity are personnel from SSS and PhilHealth, bringing with them their services that bring ease to the constituents.

Through this initiative, the Provincial Government continues to strengthen its presence in the communities, fostering stronger engagement, empowering local constituents, and addressing both immediate and long-term needs—ensuring that no Boholano is left behind in the pursuit of inclusive growth and sustainable development.

Beneficiaries from Brgy. Buyog, Balingasao, Magsaysay, Ticum, Pangi-an, Taytay, Cansibao, Loctob, and Brgy. Nailao received a wide range of services, including free medical check-ups, dental services, legal assistance, tuli (circumcision), haircuts, distribution of seeds, veterinary products, electrical and electronics repair, and free school supplies for the host barangay, and distribution of family food packs, among others. Adding joy to the activity, the PNP Valencia also shared free ice cream, bringing smiles especially to the children in the community.

Through this initiative, the Provincial Government continues to strengthen its presence in the communities, fostering stronger engagement, empowering local constituents, and addressing both immediate and long-term needs—ensuring that no Boholano is left behind in the pursuit of inclusive growth and sustainable development.

The Provincial Cooperative Development Office (PCDO), in partnership with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), conducted the 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 (𝗖𝗔𝗜𝗦) 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮 𝗧𝗲𝗮 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀, 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗕𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗹.

Participating in this first batch are cooperatives from the municipalities of: 𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐮𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐚, 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐧, 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐧, 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐩𝐞, 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐛𝐢𝐚𝐧, 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚, 𝐃𝐚𝐮𝐢𝐬, 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐧, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐨𝐣𝐨𝐜, 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐨, 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐫𝐨, 𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐓𝐮𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐨𝐧, 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐲, 𝐋𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐜, 𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚, 𝐋𝐢𝐥𝐚, 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐫, 𝐃𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐚𝐨, 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚, 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐧.

The training is being facilitated by personnel from the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) to guide cooperative representatives in properly preparing and submitting their mandatory reports. This initiative aims to strengthen compliance with reporting requirements and improve the efficiency and transparency of cooperative operations.

Through this collaborative effort, CDA and the Provincial Government of Bohol, through the PCDO, continue to support and capacitate Boholano cooperatives toward stronger governance and better reporting practices.

LOOK: The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region VII, through the 4Ps-Bohol Provincial Operations Office, in collaboration with the Local Government Unit of San Miguel, Bohol, conducted a Localized Service Caravan and Job Fair: 4Ps sa 4Ps on March 11, 2026, at the San Miguel Municipal Gymnasium in the Municipality of San Miguel, Bohol.

The Localized Service Caravan and Job Fair aims to bring government services closer to 4Ps families, particularly those projected to exit from the program this year. This initiative helps beneficiaries attain self-sufficiency and eventually achieve an independent life.

The Provincial Cooperative Development Office (PCDO) joined the activity to extend its support to these families by promoting the value of collective action and community organization. The Office expressed its readiness to guide and assist interested beneficiaries in forming associations and organizations that can help improve their economic opportunities and strengthen community cooperation.

Through continuous capacity building and technical assistance, the PCDO is committed to helping these emerging groups grow and eventually develop into sustainable cooperatives that can uplift not only their members but also their communities.

Activities such as the 4Ps sa 4Ps Service Caravan highlight the importance of inter-agency collaboration in empowering communities, ensuring that no family is left behind in the journey toward inclusive and sustainable development.
