Blood Compact Shrine

Sandugo was a blood compact, performed in the island of Bohol, Philippines, between Spanish explorer Miguel López de Legazpi and local Chief-Datu Sikatuna.

This monument, is made up of bronze featuring Miguel Lopez de Legazpi, Rajah Sikatuna and party. It was a masterpiece of a well known Boholano sculptor and National Artist for Sculpture, named Napoleon Abueva.
