December 28, 2025 | WHO RUN THE COURT? THE CHAMPIONS!

The court turned into a battleground as teams fought hard for the championship in the Christmas Inter-Purok Basketball and Volleyball League 2025, a day filled with grit, teamwork, and purok pride that made this season truly unforgettable! 🏆

Basketball crowns were claimed by Purok 2 in under-12 category while Purok 1 proved unstoppable in both under-18 and 19-up category, led by standout MVPs Jarred Galia, Jhan Keffe Cloma, and Genbuoy Bayron. On the volleyball court, Team A dominated the game, with Claide Apalisok rising as MVP after an electrifying performance.

Salute to every player, coach, and supporter who brought the Christmas spirit alive through sports. Until the next league, keep the fire burning! 🔥🏀🏐🏆

U18 Category:
Randy Capin of Purok 1 was named Player of the Game after scoring 2 points in the match between Purok 3 and Purok 1, which resulted in a win by default for Purok 1.

19-Up Category:
Mark Jhusua Itol of Purok 2 earned Player of the Game honors with 33 points in their game against Purok 3.

The continuation of basketball games recognized the following players as Player of the Game:

• In U12 Category, Zeke Calundre of Purok 1 scored 25 points against Purok 3.
• In U18 Category, Dwayne Bryan Jamero of Purok 2 finished with 24 points in their game versus Purok 3.
• In 19Up Category, Genbouy Bayron of Purok 1 posted 26 points against Purok 2.

Congratulations to John Jessie M. Maca, SK Kagawad of West-Ulbujan, on his graduation with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation from BIT-IC, Class of 2025. This achievement reflects years of effort, discipline, and balance between academic life and service to the community.

December 21-22, 2025 | PLAYER OF THE GAME

The opening games of the Christmas Inter-Purok Basketball League featured several strong individual performances. During the first game on December 21, 2025, Tommy Christoff Jamero of Purok 1 was named Player of the Game in the U12 category after scoring 11 points against Purok 2.

Games continued on December 22, 2025, with Jarred Galia of Purok 1 earning Player of the Game honors in the U12 category, finishing with 22 points in the match between Purok 3 and Purok 2. In the U18 category, Keffe Cloma of Purok 1 stood out with 18 points against Purok 2. For the 19 Up category, Niel Vincent Balaba of Purok 3 led his team with 24 points in their game against Purok 1, securing the Player of the Game recognition.

Warm congratulations to Jairah Sagusay Tadlas, a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English graduate, for passing the 2025 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers. This achievement is a proud moment for you, your family, and the West-Ulbujan community, reflecting your dedication and perseverance throughout your academic journey.

December 21, 2025 | Opening Match

The Christmas Inter-Purok Basketball and Volleyball League 2025 officially opened at the West-Ulbujan Basketball Court. An opening program was conducted prior to the start of the scheduled games.

Following the program, the first match of the tournament was held between Purok 1 and Purok 2 in the U12 category, marking the beginning of the league’s basketball and volleyball competitions.

The games officially begin on December 21, 2025 at 7:00 PM at the West‑Ulbujan Basketball Court, featuring Men’s Basketball (U12, U18, and 19‑Up) and Mixed Volleyball open to all ages.
