DILG Tagbilaran City

Pursuant to DILG MC 2024-053 dated April 16, 2024, the DILG Tagbilaran City together with the City Composite Validation and Assessment Task Team (CVATT) conducted its 4th Quarter Assessment and Validation at Barangay Booy, Manga, Taloto and Ubujan on January 9, 2025.

The City CVATT is headed by LGOO VI Juliet C. Olalo, City Local Government Operations Officer with its members, PLTCOL John Kareen Escober, City Chief of Police; SFO1 Alister S. Naive, Bureau of Fire Protection Representative; Engr. Joseph Balatero, City Engineering's Office; Samuel Belderol, Civil Society Organization Representative. Also in picture are representatives from the City ALERT team, City Planning and Development Office representative, team from City Traffic Management Office and barangay officials from the said barangays.

The Tagbilaran City Management Coordinating Committee (CMCC) conducted its 4th quarter meeting to discuss the next year's Peace and Order and Public Safety Situation (POPS) Project, Programs and Activities (PPAs) and Utilization and the Functionality of Peace And Order Council and Anti-Drug Abuse Council Audits.

The meeting was attended by PLT Fransisco and PEMS Somostrada (PNP), JINSP Rummel Balili (BJMP), FINSP Matt Reil Pono (BFP), LGOO II Jessa Jan Trazo, and CLGOO Juliet Olalo who presided the meeting.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) - Tagbilaran City recently held its Buhay Ingatan, Droga'y Ayawan (BIDA) Ka sa School and Fire Square Road Show at Bool Elementary School.

This initiative serves as a school-based fire safety education program aimed at equipping children with essential knowledge on fire safety, quick response, and emergency preparedness. Additionally, the program includes lectures and discussions to support the Anti-Illegal Drugs Campaign. The event featured an opening message from CLGOO Juliet C. Olalo, alongside CInsp. Matt Reil C. Pono, BFP Tagbilaran City Chief, and PSSg Bryan Villasquina, BIDA Focal of PNP Tagbilaran City, all emphasizing the ultimate importance of safety and awareness in the community.

08272024 | Conduct of JOINT CPOC-CADAC Meeting at JJ’s Seafood Village, K of C Drive, Tagbilaran City.

Mr. Alvin Acuzar, CADAC Focal, presented to the council updates on the city anti-illegal drugs programs and activities. PLtCol John Kareen Escober, Chief of Police, also discussed updates on the peace and order situation in the city. Lastly, PLt Jhon Rey B. Olid of the Bohol Provincial Mobile Force Company, also a new member of the City Peace and Order Council, formally introduced himself to the council and shared a little background of their company with their accomplishments.
