On 21 September 2025, COL FERDINAND REY G GA MNSA (ART) PA, Group Commander, HNCRRCDG visited the reservist personnel of the 1303rd Community Defense Center (CDC) under the supervision of COL ALVIN S ASPIRAS GSC (ART) PA, Officer-In-Charge.
The visit was conducted at the headquarters Alpha Company (Search and Rescue Unit), 1st Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (1st RRIBn) and Accompanied by LTC LEILANI F CASA MNSA GSC PA (RES), Commanding Officer, 1RRIBn, and MSg Gerry M De Mesa (AGS) PA, chief clerk 1303rd CDC. During the Visit, the Group Commander awarded Certificates of Appreciation and cash incentives received by 1LT NOEL A MENDOZA PA (RES), Commanding Officer of Search and Rescue Unit in recognition of their outstanding performance during the Collapsed Structure Response Operation conducted as part of the National Reservist Week celebration held at the General Emilio Aguinaldo Grandstand.
Following the awarding, COL GA proceeded to the 1st RRIBn Headquarters to visit the personnel undergoing Collapsed Structure Search and Rescue Training, where he delivered an inspiring message, commending their dedication, readiness, and professionalism as members of the reserve force, and encouraging them to stay committed to their training.

On 11 September 2025, the 1303rd Community Defense Center (CDC), NCRRCDG, RESCOM, PA, led by LTC MANOLITO D. SANTOS (MI) PA, Director, with the six (6) Organic personnel, joined the 3rd Quarter NSED. At 1600H, the earthquake siren sounded and personnel performed the โDuck, Cover, and Holdโ drill, moved to the open area, and awaited further instructions.
By 1630H, formation and accounting were completed, with all personnel present and no casualties reported. The drill emphasized is to ensure life safety, enhance preparedness, and test the readiness, communication, and coordination of AFP/PA units in responding to disaster

On 090830 September 2025, personnel of the 1303rd Community Defense Center (CDC), NCRRCDG, RESCOM, PA, under the supervision of LTC MANOLITO D SANTOS (MI) PA, Director, together with the personnel of the Ready Reserve Unit, conducted a Courtesy Call to the Barangay Officials of Las Piรฑas City.
The first engagement was held at Barangay Ilaya with Hon. Genoroso D. Miranda, Barangay Chairman, who formally received the delegation. Discussions focused on the programs of the Reserve Force, particularly on Reservist and Retiree Affairs (RRA), including the process of becoming a reservist, possible commissioning, and the equivalent ranks that may be conferred upon elected officials within the Reserve Force.
The activity also highlighted the continuous campaign to encourage community members to join the Reserve Force, as well as the call for Standby Reserve members to actively report and participate in unit activities. This initiative was fully supported by the barangay officials.
Subsequently, the team proceeded to Barangay Elias Aldana and was received by Hon. Edwardo O. Robles, Barangay Chairman. The engagement likewise produced positive outcomes in strengthening coordination with local leadership in support of Reserve Force development.
The activity enhanced civil-military relations and further solidified the partnership of the Philippine Army Reserve Command with the elected officials of Las Piรฑas City, in line with its mandate to build, develop, organize, and maintain a strong and responsive Reserve Force.

On 09 August 2025, the Ready Reserve Units of 1303rd Community Defense Center, under the supervision of LTC MANOLITO D SANTOS (MI) PA, CDC Director, conducted various activities in line with the RESCOM-wide Community Outreach Programs within their respective Areas of Responsibility (AOR).
The 1503rd CDC, 1st RRIBn, and Engineering Company conducted a Feeding Program and Medical Mission in Putatan, Muntinlupa City, in support of the simultaneous RESCOM-wide Community Outreach Program. The activity, jointly undertaken by Army Reservist, PNP, medical teams, and local volunteers from Inner Wheel Club of the Philippines, aimed to address immediate needs by providing meals to children and families, and delivering basic medical services to the community, benefiting 225 Kids and 150 Adults.
The 2nd RRIBn and Signal Company conducted an Outreach Program in Sitio Panday, Paltok, Brgy. Sta. Ana, Pateros, in coordination with the PNP, Reserve Officers, and Enlisted Reservists. A feeding program was implemented benefiting 200 families.
The 3rd RRIBn implemented a Feeding Program, distribution of hygiene kits, and conducted a Clean-up Drive along Service Road, Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City, benefiting 180 families, including children. These activities, carried out through the combined efforts of Organic and Reservist personnel, medical teams, and local volunteers, aimed to address urgent needs, provide basic services, and extend assistance to underprivileged communities, particularly in remote or conflict-affected areas.
This initiative further strengthened the militaryโs relationship with local communities, promoted trust and cooperation, and supported peace and development efforts. It also forms part of the non-combat mandate of the Reserve Force as public servants dedicated to serving the nation.

๐๐ข๐ข๐//On 081330 August 2025, a coordination meeting for the upcoming Blood Donation Activity was conducted at the DMST Office, Lyceum of Alabang, Tunasan, Muntinlupa City.
The meeting was presided by LTC MANOLITO D SANTOS (MI) PA, Director, 1303rd CDC, in coordination with LTC JERSON NAPAT INF PA (RES), NSTP Director and Deputy Commander of the School-Based Ready Reserve Unit, together with 2LT DIONISIO C LIBUNAO JR PA (RES), ROTC Coordinator and S1 Officer of the School Ready Reserve Unit.
The Blood Donation Activity is scheduled to be held at the Lyceum of Alabang DVA, Gymnasium on 170800 August 2025 to ensure its organized and effective ex*****on. This undertaking aims to highlight the spirit of volunteerism, patriotism, and civic responsibility among ROTC cadets, students, and SRRU reservist personnel through the voluntary donation of blood.
The activity seeks to reinforce the Philippine Army Reserve Commandโs unwavering commitment to community service and public health, while also promoting national consciousness and solidarity.
This initiative forms part of the commemoration of the 42nd Founding Anniversary of the Reserve Command, Philippine Army.

IN PHOTOS// Graduation Ceremony of the Basic ROTC Cadets of the Colegio de Muntinlupa ROTC Unit was successfully held on August 6, 2025, at Ayala Southpark Mall, Alabang, Muntinlupa City. Under the leadership of COL RAY CLAUDIO R ABAYA GSC PA (RES), Commandant CDM ROTC Unit, and through the efforts of the training staff the event is one of the significant accomplishments of the unit under the supervision of the 1303rd Community Defense Center (CDC), led by LTC MANOLITO D SANTOS (MI) PA.
The ceremony was attended by the graduating cadets and was graced by the Keynote Speaker, Hon. Rozzano Rufino B. Biazon, City Mayor of Muntinlupa. In his inspiring message, he emphasized the importance of ROTC cadets as future members of the Reserve Force of the Philippine Army defenders of the nation in times of disaster and war. LTC MANOLITO D SANTOS (MI) PA also extended his congratulations to the new members of the Reserve Force.
The ceremony formally recognizes and honor the students who successfully completed their military training. It also signified their readiness to serve the nation as part of the Reserve Force and reflected the core values of discipline, leadership, and dedication to public service.

IN PHOTOS/On 04 August 2025, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was officially signed between Paraรฑaque City College and the NCR Regional Community Defense Center (NCRRCDG), held at Coastal Road, corner Victor St., San Dionisio, Paraรฑaque City. The school is under the supervision of the 1303rd Community Defense Center (CDC), led by LTC MANOLITO D SANTOS (MI) PA, Director.
The MOA aims to formally establish the partnership between the academic institution and the NCRRCDG in support of programs such as the Reserve Officersโ Training Corps (ROTC) and the National Service Training Program (NSTP). The agreement outlines the scope, objectives, and responsibilities of both parties to ensure compliance with government regulations and to safeguard the interests of both institutions from legal and operational concerns.
Both parties shared their insights and expressed mutual support for the program. LTC Santos, Director of the 1303rd CDC, extended his gratitude to the school for its trust and commitment to the ROTC program. A special message was delivered by DR. ALEJANDRO D MAGNAYE, DBA-HM, DBE, the College Administrator, who affirmed the institutionโs full support for the implementation of ROTC Program.
The signing of the MOA symbolizes a shared commitment to youth development, the promotion of civic consciousness, and national preparedness through structured training and academic collaboration.

In support of the Philippine Armyโs Environmental Protection Advocacy and the National Greening Program, a tree planting activity was successfully conducted on 03 August 2025 at La Mesa Dam Watershed. The event was spearheaded by the Ready Reserve Infantry Brigade (RRIBde), NCRRCDG, RESCOM, PA, in collaboration with its component battalionsโ1RRIBn, 2RRIBn, and 3RRIBn, under the supervision of LTC MANOLITO D SANTOS (MI) PA the 1303rd CDC Director.
Upon arrival at exactly 030723 August 2025 Personnel from the La Mesa Watershed Management Office provided an orientation on the ecological significance of the area, proper seedling planting procedures, and the long-term impact of reforestation on Metro Manilaโs water supply.
A total of 1,500 yakal seedlings were planted in the designated reforestation zone. The activity was directly supervised on-site by Sgt Benjamin B Erilla (ART) PA of the 1303rd CDC, in coordination with RRIBde officers and staff. The activity was completed successfully at 1200H, 03 August 2025, reflecting the Reserve Forceโs strong commitment to environmental stewardship and civic responsibility.

The Lyceum of Alabang (LOA) Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Unit successfully conducted its First Training Day and Opening Ceremony for the incoming ROTC Cadet Trainees enrolled in Military Science 1 of the Basic Reserve Officer Training Corps for the first semester of the Academic Year 2025โ2026. MAJ REYNALDO H RICAFORT JR (ART) PA, Commandant of LOA ROTCU, formally led the activity, along with the ROTC training staff.
The event featured a keynote address by LTC MANOLITO D SANTOS (MI) PA, Director of the 1303rd Community Defense Center. In his speech, LTC SANTOS emphasized the vital role of ROTC in the academic curriculum, describing it as a foundational training ground for discipline, leadership, and nation-building. He highlighted the enduring values instilled by the program: being God-fearing (Makadiyos), patriotic (Makabayan), environmentally conscious (Makakalikasan), and nationalistic (Makatao/Makabansa). These values serve as guiding principles for every cadet.
LTC SANTOS also shared his journey as a former cadet, recalling how ROTC was instrumental in shaping his character, discipline, and dedicationโqualities that significantly contributed to his success in both his military and personal life. His message inspired the cadets, encouraging them to embrace the challenges ahead with commitment, honor, and a strong sense of duty to their country.
