𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐋𝐀 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐉𝐀𝐈𝐋 𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐗 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐏𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐀𝐃𝐀 𝐄𝐒𝐊𝐖𝐄𝐋𝐀 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐊𝐈𝐂𝐊-𝐎𝐅𝐅 𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐘

In line with the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology's commitment to community engagement and nation-building, personnel of the Manila City Jail Annex (MCJA), under the leadership of City Jail Warden 𝐉𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐋𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐎 𝐑 𝐏𝐀𝐋𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐀 actively participated in the Kick-Off Ceremony of Brigada Eskwela 2026 held at Upper Bicutan Elementary School, headed by School Principal 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐎 𝐁𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐧.

Following the program, Manila City Jail Annex personnel rendered volunteer services by assisting in the organization of books, classroom beautification, and repair of the roofing of the school's hydroponics area. These activities were conducted in collaboration with teachers, parents, volunteers, and other stakeholders to help ensure a safe, clean, and learner-friendly school environment in preparation for the opening of classes.

The activity reflects the BJMP's continuing support for community development initiatives and strengthens partnerships with educational institutions through the spirit of volunteerism, bayanihan, and shared responsibility.

The Manila City Jail Annex expresses its sincere gratitude to the administration of Upper Bicutan Elementary School for the opportunity to participate in this meaningful undertaking and looks forward to further collaborative efforts in serving the community.

Under the leadership of 𝐉𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐋𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐎 𝐑 𝐏𝐀𝐋𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐀, personnel of Manila City Jail Annex visited House of Sarang in Upper Bicutan, Taguig City in observance of National Flag Day.

The activity aimed to instill patriotism and appreciation for the Philippine Flag among the children through a fun and meaningful flag coloring activity. JO1 John Louie M Miguel, PDL Data Management Officer also shared the importance of our national flag and explained the meaning behind each part and color of the Philippine flag.

Through simple yet meaningful activities, we continue to inspire the youth to value patriotism, unity, and love for our country. 🇵🇭

The Manila City Jail Annex proudly joins the observance of National Flag Days from May 28 to June 12.

𝗧𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗚 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗬, May 26, 2026 – The College of Criminal Justice proudly conducted its Recognition Ceremony for the TCU Criminology Interns in celebration of their successful completion of the internship program. The event recognized the dedication, discipline, and commitment demonstrated by the interns throughout their internship journey.

The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Manila City Jail Annex under the leadership of 𝗝𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣 𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗟𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗢 𝗥 𝗣𝗔𝗟𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗔, as one of the institution’s valued partners in providing guidance and practical learning experiences to aspiring criminology professionals.

The recognition ceremony highlighted the interns’ perseverance, professionalism, and readiness to take on greater responsibilities in the field of public safety and law enforcement. As future public servants, the interns were also reminded that beyond skills and achievements, humility, respect, and integrity remain essential qualities in serving the community and the nation. The Manila City Jail Annex also expressed its appreciation to the faculty members and administration of TCU for their continuous commitment to academic excellence and character development.

Congratulations to all TCU Criminology Interns for reaching this milestone. Special recognition is also extended to the proud parents whose sacrifices, encouragement, and unwavering support became a vital part of the students’ success.

: Manila City Jail - Annex, under the leadership of City Jail Warden 𝐉𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐋𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐎 𝐑 𝐏𝐀𝐋𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐀, conducted a Zumba activity for BJMP Personnel as part of its commitment to health, wellness, and camaraderie among personnel.

The activity aimed to promote physical fitness while encouraging everyone to enjoy the process of staying active, proving that losing weight and maintaining a healthy lifestyle can be both fun and fulfilling.

Through activities like this, MCJ-Annex continues to strengthen teamwork, discipline, and well-being among its personnel.
