Coast Guard Cyber Command Visits CGETDC Units in Base Taguig

LOOK: The Regional Training Center – Taguig welcomed the Coast Guard Cyber Command, led by COMMO RODERICK V DENILA PCG, during a recent visit aimed at strengthening cybersecurity awareness and operational readiness. The delegation was received by CDR FREDERICK E GACASA PCG (ASC), Superintendent, Coast Guard School for Special Maritime Affairs, and LCDR MIRACLE P RIVERA PCG, Director, RTC Taguig.

The activity was also attended by personnel from the Coast Guard Non-Officers School (CGNOS) and the Leadership and Doctrine Development Center (LDDC), highlighting a unified effort among units in enhancing cybersecurity capabilities.

During the visit, the Coast Guard Cyber Command shared key plans and strategies to address cyber threats, including improving network security systems, strengthening threat monitoring, and promoting continuous training and awareness. The engagement provided a valuable platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange, reinforcing RTC Taguig’s commitment to innovation, security, and excellence in service.
