Under the leadership of Acting Jail Warden, 𝐉𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐍𝐄𝐋𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐕 𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐙, 𝐑𝐍 MMDJ Annex 1 successfully conducted a Fire Safety Seminar in partnership with the 𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐠 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐮 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 to strengthen awareness, preparedness, and proper emergency response among personnel.

Led by Team Leader 𝐅𝐎𝟐 𝐉𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐎. 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐢𝐫𝐨 together with three (3) BFP representatives, the seminar provided valuable knowledge and practical guidance on fire prevention and emergency preparedness.

MMDJ Annex 1 sincerely thanks the Bureau of Fire Protection for their support and commitment in promoting safety and readiness within the community.

MMDJ Annex 1 actively participated in the conduct of a Holy Mass on May 27, 2026, held at the basketball activity area together with forty (40) Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs). The mass was presided over by 𝐑𝐞𝐯. 𝐅𝐫. 𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐀𝐛𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐯. 𝐅𝐫. 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐨 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐲 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡.

Supervised by Acting Warden 𝐉𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐍𝐄𝐋𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐕 𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐙, 𝐑𝐍, together with facility personnel and trainees, the activity aimed to strengthen the spiritual well-being, hope, and moral recovery of the participating PDLs through prayer, reflection, and fellowship.

Through faith-based activities like this, MMDJ Annex 1 continues to support the holistic reformation and rehabilitation of PDLs while promoting compassion, discipline, and respect for human dignity.

𝐌𝐌𝐃𝐉 𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐗 𝟏 joyfully celebrated the May birthday celebrants through a simple yet meaningful cake gift-giving activity initiated by Acting Jail Warden, 𝐉𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐍𝐄𝐋𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐕 𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐙, 𝐑𝐍, fostering camaraderie, appreciation, and unity within the facility.

𝐌𝐌𝐃𝐉 𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐗 𝟏 𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒 𝐄𝐈𝐃 𝐀𝐋-𝐀𝐃𝐇𝐀

MMDJ Annex 1 actively participated in the 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐢𝐝 𝐚𝐥-𝐀𝐝𝐡𝐚 through the conduct of Salah prayer on May 27, 2026, together with twenty-one (21) Muslim Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).

Following the religious activity, a 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 was also conducted for the Muslim PDLs as part of the celebration, symbolizing unity, brotherhood, and thanksgiving in observance of Eid al-Adha. The activity was initiated by the Acting Jail Warden, 𝐉𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐍𝐄𝐋𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐕. 𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐙, 𝐑𝐍.

The celebration highlighted the active participation and solidarity of the Muslim community inside MMDJ Annex 1, strengthening the spiritual well-being, camaraderie, and moral recovery of Muslim PDLs. Through meaningful faith-based activities such as this, the facility continues to uphold religious freedom while supporting the holistic reformation and rehabilitation of PDLs.

The MMDJ Annex 1 highlighted this week’s 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 on 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 during the flag-raising ceremony, delivered by JO2 Sheryl E. Basiuang, Chief, Paralegal Unit, under the guidance of Acting Warden 𝐉𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐍𝐄𝐋𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐕. 𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐙, 𝐑𝐍.

She emphasized that through prayer, we are reminded to remain humble, patient, and morally grounded in every decision we make. Prayerfulness helps us stay calm during difficult situations, strengthens our sense of duty and accountability, guides us in seeking wisdom, and reminds us to uphold respect for human dignity.

May prayer always remind us that public service is not only a profession, but also a mission.

On May 25, 2026, 𝐉𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐍𝐄𝐋𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐕 𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐙, 𝐑𝐍, Acting Jail Warden, led the flag ceremony and rank inspection at the Basketball Court. The activity highlighted the importance of discipline, professionalism, and unity among all personnel.
Through this initiative, personnel were reminded of their shared responsibility to uphold the highest standards of service, reinforcing pride in duty and commitment to maintaining order and excellence within the facility.

The BJMP Football Club (Greyhounds) proudly emerged as CHAMPION in the 8-Aside Invitational Football Tournament held at Maria Aurora Central School, in the beautiful province of Baler, Aurora.

With discipline and teamwork, our Greyhounds proved that excellence in service is matched by excellence in sports.

On May 18, 2026, 𝐉𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐍𝐄𝐋𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐕 𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐙, 𝐑𝐍, Acting Warden, spearheaded the closing program of the 𝗠𝗠𝗗𝗝 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘅 𝟭 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, organized by the 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

The event highlighted the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and camaraderie through the successful culmination of the Basketball League 2026. Players and teams were recognized during the awarding ceremony for their outstanding performances, dedication, and perseverance throughout the tournament, receiving prizes and tokens of appreciation.

More than just a competition, the Summer League 2026 became a symbol of unity, discipline, and hope — proving the positive impact of sports in rehabilitation and personal growth. Through teamwork and determination, the event inspired everyone to strive for excellence despite challenges.
