USD 16.4 million in export agreements highlighted the Korea–Philippines Business Partnership organized by KOTRA Manila during President Lee Jae-myung’s state visit to the Philippines.

Held at SMX Convention Center Manila, the event brought together Korean companies and Philippine partners to explore new opportunities for trade and collaboration.

The program featured 1:1 business meetings between 52 Korean consumer goods companies and 102 Philippine buyers, providing a dynamic platform for market entry and partnership development.

Major Philippine retail groups including SM Retail, Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc., S&R Membership Shopping, and Landers Superstore participated in the consultations, exploring opportunities to introduce Korean products into their retail networks.

Jeong-kwan Kim, Minister of Trade, Industry and Resources of Korea, also visited the venue and met with participating companies and retail partners to discuss ways to further expand K-lifestyle and Korean consumer goods in the Philippine market.

Earlier in the day, the Korea–Philippines AI and Digital Transformation (AX–DX) Roundtable was held with the participation of Maria Castro, Undersecretary of the Department of Information and Communications Technology - DICT . The session brought together Korean ICT companies and Philippine stakeholders to discuss cooperation in cloud services, data centers, and digital infrastructure development.

These events highlighted the growing momentum of Korea–Philippines economic cooperation, spanning consumer goods, retail distribution, and digital transformation.
KOTRA Manila will continue to support Korean companies in expanding their presence in the Philippine market and strengthening business partnerships between the two countries.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of any 4-year course; Experience in marketing and events management is an advantage.
- Adept in basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.
- With experience in onsite event management
- With experience in buyer marketing role.
- Can communicate professionally with potential attendees.
- Must have excellent communication skills (Filipino and English / verbal and written).
- Knowledge in conducting a trade mission is an advantage.
- Experience in handling business matching meetings in the project development industry is an advantage.
- Willing to report onsite in BGC, Taguig City.

Duties:
- Research and invite potential buyers / leads for the event.
- Send emails to prospective attendees.
- Do cold calls and sms blast.
- Data encoding.
- Help in pre-event preparations, onsite event management, post-event reporting and other administrative work
