Taguig City Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) head Helario Supaz received the Autism Advocate Award at the 2026 Philippine Association for Citizens with Developmental and Learning Disabilities Awards, held on April 7 at Gateway Gallery, Araneta Center, Quezon City, in line with the observance of World Autism Awareness Day.

Supaz was cited for his leadership in advancing the rights, inclusion, and well-being of persons with disabilities, particularly individuals on the autism spectrum. His initiatives have strengthened inclusive programs and community awareness, contributing to a more accessible environment for Taguigeños.

The Philippine Association for Citizens with Developmental and Learning Disabilities is widely recognized in the Philippines among educators, therapists, and advocacy groups for its work in promoting inclusion and support for individuals with developmental and learning disabilities.
