San Jose, Rodriguez, Rizal.

𝟐𝟒- 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐆𝐋𝐄 𝐄𝐍𝐕𝐈𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐕𝐀𝐋 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 (𝐉𝐄𝐒𝐓)

On March 11 and 12, 2023 Personnel of Coast Guard K9 Force took the 24-hours 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 at JEST CAMP, Upper Mau, Cubi Triboa, Subic Bay Freeport Zone Subic, Zambales.

Jungle Environment Survival Training (JEST) camp is the most famous (and toughest) survival school in the Philippines. It is started in the late 1960's when the American visited Subic Bay, Philippines. They found a group of Indigenous people called Aetas and was curious on how they would survive in the forest using only their "bolo"(knife or machete).

The Main course of this Activity is to gain skills on how to survived in the jungle, learning to know the survival tecnhiques and the basic survival task like fire making with the use of "kawayan", where to gather food and water, how to make human and animal traps, Familiarization of Medicinal, food plants and animals, sources of water from the roots of trees, cooking rice inside the "kawayan" and also creating a "kawayan" plate ,cup and spoon. It is also strengthen their endurance for the almost 2 hours of walking and hiking inside the forest.

The said training activity was successfully surpassed, safely executed and completed with no incident happened.

𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐍𝐀𝐍: Makikita sa larawan na ibinahagi ngayung araw, ika-12 ng Marso 2023 mula sa Search and Rescue Teams (SOF, CGK9F, CG Substation Maconacon personnel) na deneploy ng Coast Guard District North Eastern Luzon kasama ang iba pang ahensya ng pamahalaan at ilang pribadong institusyon, ang mga parte ng 𝐂𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐧𝐚 𝟐𝟎𝟔 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐞 na bumagsak sa bulubundukin bahagi ng Brgy. Ditarum, Divilacan, Isabela noong ika 24 ng Enero 2023.

Sa mismong crash site makikita rin ang mga bangkay na nasa stage of decomposition na at pinaniniwalaang mga sakay ng bumagsak na eroplano.

𝐏𝐂𝐆 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐔𝐄 𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌𝐒 𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐍𝐀 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐄 𝐈𝐍 𝐁𝐑𝐆𝐘. 𝐃𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐔𝐌, 𝐃𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐀𝐍, 𝐈𝐒𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐀

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: Philippine Coast Guard Guard K9 Search and Rescue Team together with Personnel of Coast Guard Sub-station Maconacon, Coast Guard Special Operation Unit, Rescue 715 Maconacon, and LDRRMO of Maconacon has located the missing Cessna 206 Plane around 11:45 a.m. last Thursday, 09 March 2023 at Brgy. Ditarum, Divilacan, Isabela along with the six (6) unidentified cadavers in the crash site.

Said aircraft was reported missing in the mountainous area of Divilacan, Isabela, last January 24, 2023.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: The Philippine Coast Guard K9 Personnel participated in the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 (𝐍𝐒𝐄𝐃) held at Headquarters Coast Guard K9 Force, Base Taguig, 56 M.L. Quezon Street, Purok 1 New Lower Bicutan, Taguig City, yesterday, 09 March 2023

CGK9 Force personnel simultaneously engaged in performing 𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐊, 𝐂𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐃 along with every personnel of government agencies in preparing and responding to certain disasters in the event of an earthquake. Also, methods of search, rescue and how to properly administer first aid to potential victims were performed.
