The LNMB is under the administration of the Grave Services Unit of the Philippine Army Support Command. The GSU is tasked to provide grave services to deceased military personnel who died in line of duty or were honorably discharged, Filipino veterans, former presidents, government dignitaries, statesmen’s and national artist. Aside from maintaining the LNMB and the military grave site at Manila North Cemetery, the Unit is capable of providing mortuarial and memorial services to authorized personnel. Our fallen heroes shall always be remembered. Their country shall continue to honor
them even if they no longer participate in the routine of daily life, what they left and died for shall continuously be enjoyed by very people they have sworn to serve. LNMB is a national shrine, a cemetery, a memorial, a reminder of the lessons of war and a place to express reverence to our fallen heroes. The AFP pays tribute to their commendable and heroic deeds by memorializing them at the LNMB.
