“Pamilya, Katuwang sa Pagbabago, Sandigan sa Bagong Simula” 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦✨

Last September 25, Bahay Pag-Asa Taguig celebrated Family Day through Friday Fun Day, a meaningful celebration of family, talent, and togetherness. 💙

Facilitated by our Homelife Services Team—Team HP Annie, SF Alexander, and SF Winston, the residents showcased their talents through rap, spoken poetry, and dancing, all centered on the importance of family. 🎤📝💃

We also recognized our August 2026 Resident of the Month, Cleanest Dorm, and Top 5 residents with the highest Notes of Kindness. 🏆👏

After the program, our residents were allowed to share lunch and precious moments with their families—a simple but meaningful time that reminded everyone of the importance of family as a source of love, strength, and hope. ❤️

🙏 Maraming salamat to the PNP for their assistance and support; to all the parents and family members who spent their time with their children; and to our dedicated staff, including those who were on their day off but still chose to be present and support our celebration.

Our heartfelt thanks as well to the CSWDO Family. To Ma’am Nikki Rose H. Operario, RSW, thank you, and to Ma’am Gloria Salvadora for joining us and sharing a special message with our residents and their families. 💙

💙 BPA STAFF MEETING | September 14, 2026 💙

Bahay Pag-Asa Taguig held a Staff Meeting attended by our Team Leaders and representatives from each service at the BPA Conference Room, facilitated by our dedicated BPA Nurses. 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

The meeting allowed each service to raise concerns, share observations, and propose recommendations to continuously improve the services and care we provide to our residents. 🤝

We also appreciate our two staff members who shared their insights and learnings from the seminars they attended, allowing the whole team to learn and grow together. 📚✨

Thank you, our dear nurses, for facilitating the meeting, and thank you to everyone who attended, participated, and openly shared your thoughts. Your teamwork and commitment truly matter. 💙

Together, we continue to work as one team, with one goal—to provide better care, support, and opportunities for our residents. 🙏💙

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 PARENTS IN FOCUS | FAMILY PLANNING 💙

Bahay Pag-Asa Taguig held another meaningful Parents in Focus session on Family Planning, facilitated by our Social Worker, Sir Joe Michael H. Rapirap, RSW, and our dedicated nurses, Ma’am Marites Mangubat, RN, and Sir Mark Jocef Abadilla, RN.

The session was attended by parents and residents who already have children. After the discussion, Sir Rapirap facilitated a reflection and processing session, allowing everyone to share their insights and learnings. 💬💙

Aside from the one-on-one tutorials facilitated by our BPA in-house teachers, our residents also participate in the Basic Literacy Program facilitated by our dedicated ALS teachers every Monday and Wednesday. 📝📖

The program supports residents who are not yet ready for enrollment in ALS Elementary, helping them build the basic foundation and skills they need for their continued education. 🌱✨

Every Tuesday morning, after the Values Formation activity, our BPA in-house teachers facilitate an Enrichment Class for the residents. 🌱

Every Monday afternoon, our Livelihood In-Charge facilitates sessions on Financial Literacy and Basic Business Management for the residents of Bahay Pag-asa. 💰📊

Through these sessions, our residents learn practical skills in handling money, saving, budgeting, and understanding the basics of running a business—helping them prepare for a more responsible and independent future. 🌱💙

💬✨ Residents’ Meeting at BPA

Last August 28, 2026, our residents gathered at the BPA Conference Room for a meaningful Residents’ Meeting. 🗣️🤝

For the first time, our Resident of the Month took the lead in presiding over the meeting, with the guidance and support of our Social Workers. 🌟 Residents were allowed to openly share their concerns, discuss possible solutions, and work together toward positive agreements.

Representatives from the BPA MDT Team were also present and actively participated in addressing the concerns raised by the residents. Together, they discussed possible solutions and reached agreements on various issues. 💙

The meeting also included an affirmation and recognition of residents who had no violations throughout August, actively participated in activities, and were recognized through the Note of Kindness, Resident of the Month, and Cleanest Dorm awards. 👏🏆✨

To end the meeting, the residents participated in the selection of the next Resident of the Month, wrote Notes of Kindness for their fellow residents, and took part in a resident monitoring activity to help identify possible conflicts or concerns with their peers. These concerns are then addressed with the support of the Social Workers and Psychometrician to promote open communication and prevent misunderstandings from escalating into conflicts. 🤝💙

At BPA, we continue to encourage our residents to speak up, listen to one another, and work together toward a safer and more positive community. 🫶✨

🙏✨ SPIRITUAL & VALUES FORMATION

Last September 2, 2026, our Bahay Pag-Asa residents took part in a meaningful Spiritual and Values Formation session at the BPA Conference Room, led by Pastor Edencio and Pastor Ben. ❤️

They shared the story of Creation, Adam and Eve, and discussed the Foundation of Faith and Family Planning—reminding our residents about faith, relationships, responsibility, and making good choices for the future. 🌱🙏

🕯️✨ LATE POST | ASIN AT ILAW SPIRITUAL ENRICHMENT

Last August 22, 2026, the Asin at Ilaw Lay Missionaries conducted another meaningful Spiritual Enrichment session at Bahay Pag-Asa. 🙏

The session focused on the two important kinds of light—physical and spiritual light—and how spiritual light guides us toward what is right and good. 💡✨

They also shared a meaningful reflection about bread 🍞 and the different kinds of hunger we experience: hunger for love, acceptance, forgiveness, change, and hope. When these needs remain unfulfilled, we may sometimes make wrong choices.
