🌷💖 A Day of Love and Gratitude: Celebrating Mothers’ Unconditional Love and Sacrifices 💖🌷

Last May 22, 2026, Bahay Pag-Asa celebrated Mother’s Day through our Friday Fun Day with the theme, “A Day of Love and Gratitude: Celebrating Mothers’ Unconditional Love and Sacrifices.”

Hosted by two of our talented residents, the activity became a meaningful tribute to all mothers and parent figures. Residents showcased their talents through singing and dancing performances, while selected residents shared heartfelt messages expressing their love, appreciation, and gratitude to their mothers.

The celebration served as a reminder of the invaluable role that mothers play in shaping the lives of their children through their unwavering love, care, and sacrifices.

A sincere thank you to Team Angie and Team Abanto for successfully facilitating this memorable and heartwarming Friday Fun Day. Your efforts helped make the celebration meaningful and enjoyable for everyone.

🦷✨ Healthy Smiles, Brighter Futures! ✨🦷

Last May 20, 2026, the Quarterly Dental Visit was successfully conducted through the efforts of the City Health Office under the leadership of Dra. Imelda Young, in coordination with Dr. Joselito Antonio.

Our in-house residents participated in an informative dental health lecture, where they learned the proper way of brushing their teeth and the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene. Following the session, residents received dental check-ups, cleaning, prophylaxis, and other necessary dental services. Staff members were likewise accommodated and provided with dental cleaning and prophylaxis based on their individual needs.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to all the dentists, nurses, and healthcare personnel who made this activity possible. Special thanks as well to the City Government of Taguig for its continuous support in promoting the health and well-being of our residents and staff.

Together, we continue to create healthier smiles and brighter futures for everyone. 💙🦷

Parents in Focus | May 15, 2026 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💙

Learning never stops when it comes to understanding our youth!

Last May 15, 2026, BPA conducted its Parents in Focus session facilitated by Mr. Ronald Fajardo Jr. and Ma’am Ailla Dennise Sarmiento. Ma’am Ailla discussed "Understanding Adolescence," while Sir Ron led an engaging activity on what parents know—and want to know more—about adolescence.

Thank you to all the parents who actively participated and shared their insights. Special thanks to Sir Ron and Ma’am Ailla for facilitating the session, and to Ma’am JM for capturing the moments through photo documentation.

Together, we learn, grow, and strengthen our families. 💙

BPA Staff Meeting | May 11, 2026

On May 11, 2026, Bahay Pag-Asa conducted a staff meeting facilitated by the Livelihood In-Charge, Ma’am Juliet and Ma’am Zoila, with the participation of team leaders and representatives from the different services and units of BPA.

The meeting featured a productive brainstorming session on the upcoming 11th Anniversary Celebration of Bahay Pag-Asa, where participants shared ideas and recommendations to make the event meaningful and memorable for everyone involved.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Ma’am Juliet and Ma’am Zoila for facilitating the discussion and encouraging collaboration among the staff. Their leadership and dedication contributed greatly to the success of the meeting.

The BPA family also warmly welcomes our new Psychometrician, Ma'am Sofia. We are excited to have you join our team and look forward to working together in providing quality care, guidance, and support to our residents.

Together, we continue to strengthen our commitment to serving and empowering the youth entrusted to our care.

Friday Mass and Catechesis at Bahay Pag-Asa

As part of our monthly spiritual formation program, Bahay Pag-Asa conducted its Friday Mass, attended by the residents and staff of BPA. This month's homily focused on the theme of love, highlighting the importance of compassion, kindness, forgiveness, and respect in our daily lives.

Following the Mass, the choir facilitated an enriching catechesis session, further deepening the discussion on the meaning of love. Through reflections and sharing, the residents gained a broader understanding of love as a selfless act that strengthens relationships, promotes understanding, and inspires positive change within the community.

The activity served as a meaningful opportunity for spiritual growth, reminding everyone that true love is expressed not only through words but also through our actions toward others.

🏊‍♂️❤️ Following the successful Sports and Recreational Week 2026, the Psychosocial Team organized a special swimming activity at Casa Teofila last April 31, 2026, as a reward for the 🔴 Red Team, the Overall Champion in the Sports and Recreational Week 2026

Also included in the activity were residents who became champions in ♟️ Chess, 🎨 Poster Making, and 🎤 Pop Solo, together with 🏅 MVP awardees, 🌟 Residents of the Month, and residents who received numerous 💌 Notes of Kindness. A total of 32 residents, together with house parents and security personnel, joined the fun swimming activity.

This swimming recreational activity served as a reward and recognition for the residents’ hard work, discipline, teamwork, and positive behavior. ❤️

On April 24, 2026, the Sports and Recreational Week 2026 officially concluded with a meaningful and joyful Awarding Ceremony, graced by our esteemed guests: Hon. Mayor Maria Laarni L. Cayetano, Councilor of District 1 Hon. Marisse Balena-Eron, and CSWDO Department Head Ma’am Nikki Rose H. Operario, RSW. 🙌

The event recognized the outstanding efforts and performances of all participants after a week of competitions.🔥
