MAN WANTED FOR LARGE SCALE ILLEGAL RECRUITMENT ARRESTED

By virtue of warrant of arrest, the Rank 8 (Station Level) Most Wanted Person of Pasay CPS was arrested at about 10:30 AM of February 9, 2024 at Pasadeña st., Brgy 77, Pasay City.

Arrested accused was identified as alias Jamil, 59 years old.

Accused has a pending warrant of arrest for Illegal Recruitment (Large Scale) under Criminal Case No. 2016-0952-D issued by Honorable Presiding Judge Dorothy Jimenez Alarcon-Padilla of Dagupan City Regional Trial Court Branch 42, dated January 22, 2021 with recommended bail

Alias Jamil is presently detained at Custodial Facility of Pasay CPS while issuing court will be notified of his arrest.

SEARCH WARRANT YIELDS P748K SHABU, FI****MS, AND ARREST OF 15 INDIVIDUALS IN RECENT OPERATIONS

In a crackdown on illegal drugs, the Southern Police District (SPD) continue to gain ground following the arrest of another street level individual and other drug personalities and the seizure of Php748,680.00 worth of illegal drugs alongside a Cal .38 and improvised Handgun. This accomplishment came after the successful ex*****on of ten search warrants in Pateros, Taguig CPS, and Parañaque CPS from January 1, 2024, to February 5, 2024.

Among the apprehended suspects were alias Taba (44), alias Tulis (34), alias Kingkong (39), alias Tongtong (49), alias Putan (38), alias Bubod (43), alias Mata (32), and alias Palamon (55).

In addition to combating drug-related activities, five search warrants targeting loose fi****ms resulted in the arrest of five individuals and the confiscation of a Cal .45, four Cal .38s, a replica 9mm, a Cal .22, and a rifle .22.

Arrested during these operations were alias Jowa, alias Tega (41), alias Salud (44) – a mechanic, alias Casio (55) – a tricycle driver, and alias Pinya. Legal proceedings for violations of RA 10591 are currently underway against them.

The apprehended suspects were all under the custody of arresting units, while the confiscated fi****ms and seized drug evidence, have been handed over to the SPD Forensic Unit for qualitative and quantitative analysis.
