🎓 Today marks the start of the first organized by the Embassy of Italy in Manila, in collaboration with the , as part of the “XXV Settimana della Lingua Italiana nel Mondo”.
The initiative aims to introduce young students to the professional opportunities and future prospects that can arise from learning the Italian language 🇮🇹 📚

L’Ambasciatore Davide Giglio ha incontrato presso il Dipartimento degli Affari Esteri l’Undersecretary for Policy, Hellen B. De La Vega. Passato in rassegna il fronte negoziale bilaterale a tutto campo esistente nei vari settori quali il commercio e gli investimenti, la difesa e la sicurezza, lo spazio, l’agricoltura, le risorse naturali, il turismo e l’immigrazione.

Ambassador Davide Giglio met with the Undersecretary for Policy, Ma. Hellen B. De La Vega at the Department of Foreign Affairs, Republic of the Philippines . The meeting provided an opportunity to review the comprehensive bilateral negotiations underway in sectors such as trade and investment, defense and security, space, agriculture, natural resources, tourism and immigration.

In occasione della , l’Ambasciatore Davide Giglio ha incontrato l’artista filippino Maya Caran Dang, autore del murale dedicato al capitano della Nazionale italiana di volley Simone Giannelli .
L’atleta azzurro aveva visitato il murale che decora un playground di Manila, testimonianza del caloroso affetto con cui gli sono stati accolti durante il Mondiale filippino.
L’Ambasciatore Giglio ha portato a Maya Caran Dang il saluto personale di Simone Giannelli e il ringraziamento della Federazione Italiana Pallavolo

On the occasion of the , Ambassador Davide Giglio met with Filipino artist , creator of a mural dedicated to Simone Giannelli, captain of the Italian national volleyball team.
The Italian athlete had visited the mural decorating a playground in Manila, a testament to the warm affection with which the were welcomed throughout the World Championships in the Philippines.

🇮🇹 L’Ambasciatore Davide Giglio ha consegnato oggi l’onorificenza di Cavaliere dell’Ordine della Stella d’Italia conferita dal Signor Presidente della Repubblica Sergio Matterella a Padre Sebastiano D’Ambra.
Sacerdote del Pontificio Istituto Missioni Estere ( ), Padre D’Ambra è attivo nelle Filippine fin dal 1977. Egli ha trascorso la maggior parte della sua vita missionaria a Zamboanga (Mindanao) dedicandosi alla promozione del dialogo tra musulmani e cristiani attraverso il Movimento Silisilah, da lui fondato.
Silsilah ha promosso il superamento delle barriere religiose attraverso esperimenti di convivenza tra cristiani e musulmani contribuendo al processo di istituzione e stabilizzazione della Regione Autonoma Musulmana di Bangsamoro nell’isola di Mindanao.

🇬🇧 Ambassador Davide Giglio today presented the honor of “Cavaliere dell’Ordine della Stella d’Italia“, awarded by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, to Father Sebastiano D’Ambra.
A priest of the Pontifical Institute for Foreign Missions ( ), Father D’Ambra has been active in the Philippines since 1977. He has spent most of his missionary life in Zamboanga (Mindanao), devoted to promoting dialogue between Muslims and Christians through the Silsilah Movement, which he founded.
Silsilah has worked to overcome religious barriers through initiatives of coexistence between Christians and Muslims, making a significant contribution to the process of establishing and consolidating the Bangsamoro Autonomous Muslim Region on the island of Mindanao.

Nell’incontro è stato discusso il progresso a tutto campo del rapporto italo-filippino su numerosi fronti (commercio, difesa, immigrazione, agricoltura, giustizia, cultura, risorse naturali, scienza e tecnologia) e le relative positive prospettive di sviluppo.

On September 2, Ambassador Davide Giglio met with Executive Secretary Lucas P. Bersamin in Malacanang. They discussed the comprehensive progress of Italian-Philippine relations on numerous fronts (trade, defense, immigration, agriculture, justice, culture, natural resources, science and technology) and the related positive development prospects.

Il 28 agosto l'Ambasciatore Davide Giglio ha incontrato il Segretario all’Ambiente e alle Risorse Naturali Raphael P. Mercado Lotilla. Esaminate le prospettive di cooperazione bilaterale con particolare riferimento all'ambito delle risorse minerarie e al rafforzamento della cooperazione tra Italia e Filippine in ambito green, in linea con il quadro più ampio della collaborazione UE–ASEAN.

On August 28th Ambassador Davide Giglio met with Secretary of the Environment and Natural Resources H.E. Raphael P. Mercado Lotilla. They discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation, particularly in the area of mineral resources and strengthening cooperation between Italy and the Philippines in the green sector, in line with the broader framework of the EU-ASEAN collaboration.
