✅ Course Objective:
-To acquire knowledge and skills on ensuring safety of plant and plant based food products.
-To enable participants to comply with the requirements for designation and registration as a BPI Food Safety Compliance Officer (FSCO) in accordance with BPI Administrative Circular No. 02, s.2021

📘 Course Outline:
-Food Safety in Handling Fresh and Minimally Processed Fruits and Vegetables
-Overview of the Philippine Food Safety Regulatory System
-Regulatory Functions of the Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI) in Ensuring Food Safety in Plant and Plant Products
-Relevant Standards for Plant and Plant Products (Good Agricultural Practices, Codes of Practice)
-Internal Control System (ICS) and Food Safety Plan
-Written Examination for FSCOs
