𝗦𝗘𝗜 𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬 | STEM Teach continues its training rollout in CARAGA, bringing together more than 200 science educators for the “7Es in Teaching Chemistry” program.

Over five days, participants engaged in interactive experiential activities, workshops, and collaborative discussions designed to deepen teachers’ mastery of key Chemistry concepts aligned with grade-level competencies. Focused on Grades 7 and 8 instruction, the program covered essential topics such as laboratory safety, scientific investigations, elements and compounds, and chemical interactions.

𝗦𝗘𝗜 𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬 | A new milestone unfolds in the 2026 Scholars Leadership Camp (SLC) as graduate scholars under the Accelerated Science and Technology Human Resource Development Program (ASTHRDP) and the Capacity Building Program in Science and Mathematics Education (CBPSME) come together for a shared leadership formation experience.

Marking the first SLC for ASTHRDP scholars, the camp brings together participants from De La Salle University, Ateneo de Manila University, Central Luzon State University, and the University of Santo Tomas for heartfelt discussions and profound understanding of leadership and the role of scholars in national development.

As they take part in this pioneering leg of SLC 2026, these graduate scholars are reminded that advanced learning is not only a pursuit of expertise but also a call to lead, serve, and help shape the nation through science, education, and research.

𝗦𝗘𝗜 𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬 | More than 100 science educators from across CARAGA convened in Surigao City for “The 7Es in Teaching Earth Science” training program.

Throughout the five-day program, participants immersed in a series of interactive experiential activities and discussions centered on Grade 8 Earth Science. The training aimed to strengthen the teachers' mastery of key concepts while equipping them with learner-centered strategies and innovative classroom approaches anchored on the 7Es instructional model.

This training marks the first of three consecutive STEM Teach training runs in the region this May. Follow STEM Teach DOST - SEI on Facebook as the program continues its efforts to support educators and strengthen STEM education in underserved communities nationwide.
