In a talk show hosted by Prof. Michael Charleston “Xiao” Chua, Associate Professor of De La Salle University, together with our invited alumni scholars—Ms. Katherine Aprille D. Dula, Senior SRS of PSTO Palawan; Ms. Dannah Gail T. Tagumapay, Municipal Chief FSES of Mamburao Fire Station; and Ms. Sweet Angelikate L. Villaruel, Associate Dean of the College of Sciences of Palawan State University—our students were guided in understanding the essence of servant leadership.

By reflecting on our nation's history and learning from the journeys of our distinguished alumni scholars, participants gained valuable insights into leading with purpose and service to others. 🇵🇭

Day 3 leveled up as our MIMAROPA scholars unleashed their blazing spirits and conquered today’s session. Centered on Social Responsibility, today’s activities helped our scholars gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of what it truly means to serve and lead the community with heart.

Our scholars delve deeper into what it truly means to pursue professional excellence through the inspiring insights shared by our esteemed resource persons and guests. From meaningful discussions to engaging activities, Day 2 was filled with energy and learnings!

This afternoon, we were honored by the presence of an exemplary leader, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐨 𝐍. 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐝𝐚, 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐌𝐈𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐀. As a guest speaker during Dr. Aris Larroder’s session on Professional Excellence, Dr. Sepeda shared a meaningful reminder with our scholars: “Leadership is not just a decision to influence and be influenced by others, but also a decision to serve others.”

In his welcome message, 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐓. 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐠𝐨 𝐈𝐈𝐈, Provincial Director of PSTO Palawan, reminded the scholars that leadership is not merely about holding power, but about becoming the kind of leader our nation truly needs.

As future engineers, doctors, public servants, and community leaders, may they carry with them the responsibility to serve the Filipino people.
