Good news for motorists! Fuel prices are set to go down this week after several weeks of continuous increases.
According to the Department of Energy (DOE), the rollback brings fuel prices closer to pre-war levels, providing some relief to consumers and transport operators.
While global events, particularly in the Middle East, continue to affect oil prices, the latest adjustment reflects improving conditions in the international oil market.
Consumers are advised to check their local fuel stations, as prices may vary by company and location.

Fuel prices are expected to increase this week starting May 26.
Diesel may go up by โฑ1.00 to โฑ1.30 per liter, while gasoline could rise by โฑ1.20 to โฑ1.50 per liter, based on industry estimates.
According to an industry source, the expected increases are driven by higher global crude oil prices and persistent supply constraints, particularly in Asia, where refiners continue to face difficulties in securing feedstock.
Gasoline prices are likewise being pushed higher by tight global supply conditions, as reduced production in Europe redirects supply flows to other regions, while stronger demand from the United States builds ahead of the peak summer driving season.
