The 𝗠𝗗-𝗣𝗵𝗗 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲 is the first and only dual MD-PhD course, in collaboration with the University of the Philippines Manila (UPM), offered in the Philippines that aims to train aspiring physician-scientists for careers dedicated to the advancement of health through biomedical research.

𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺: Acceptance to UPM College of Medicine and GWA of 1.75 or better

Lead the future of health research on the world stage 🚀

The DOST-PCHRD, in collaboration with the University of Toronto – Temerty Faculty of Medicine, Canada, invites applications for the 2026 Postdoctoral Fellowship Program focused on Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD).

This one-year fellowship provides early-career researchers the opportunity to train in a research-intensive environment in Toronto and contribute to advancing liver health, especially through MASLD studies. The program is open to Filipino citizens with an MD-PhD or PhD in a field relevant to health and molecular biology.
