The first leg of Mobile Legal Aide Clinic was successfully conducted on 12 March 2025 at NFNL Officers Club, Naval Forces Northern Luzon, San Fernando City, La Union Headed by COL RODERICK V GUERRERO JAGS(GSC), The Naval Judge Advocate, together with other JAGS Officers (Office Staffs). The said activity aims to disseminate and discuss the newly approved laws, relevant policies, rules, and regulations of the Philippine Navy and Higher Headquarters to PN units. It was participated by the staff Officers, Enlisted Personnel and Civilian Human Resource of the Command. The SMEs discussed the interesting topics which includes: Philippine Maritime Zone Act and Archipelagic Sea Lane Passage, Law of Armed Conflict (LOAC), Rules of Engagement, Military Justice and Article of War 105 (Disciplinary Powers of Commanding Officer) and RA 11709 as amended by RA 11939.

Further, MLAC is part of the Office mandate to provide continuous legal education and information to the PN units and personnel. As far as legal matters are concerned, O/TNJA JAGS Officers are capable to give satisfactory answer to the certain issues and render efficient and effective legal advice to the Commanders of PN Units and personnel so they can carry out their responsibilities efficiently and without running afoul to the provisions of the law and other applicable policies.
