The Shootfest for a Cause – Season 2 was held on June 28 to June 29, 2025 at the PMC Shooting Range, Marine Barracks Rudiardo Brown (MBRB), Lawton Avenue, Taguig City. This two-day event brought together members of the Philippine Navy Reservist and Philippine Marines Reservist in a display of camaraderie, marksmanship, and community spirit.

Organized to raise funds and awareness for a meaningful cause, the shootfest provided an avenue for participants to hone their shooting skills while fostering teamwork and discipline. The event also served as a platform to strengthen ties between naval and marine reservists, reflecting their shared commitment to service, readiness, and public welfare.

Through friendly competition and shared purpose, the Shootfest for a Cause – Season 2 successfully combined the values of military excellence with the spirit of volunteerism, proving that service to the nation can extend beyond the battlefield into meaningful community initiatives.

From June 25 to June 27 2025, the 222nd NSR Philippine Navy Reservists served as Color Guards for the commencement exercises of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig. The Color Guard, a ceremonial unit tasked with carrying and presenting the National Flag and organizational colors, plays a vital role in preserving the dignity and symbolism of official events.

Over the three-day engagement, the PN reservists demonstrated precision, discipline, and professionalism, ensuring that the presentation of colors was executed in accordance with military tradition and protocol. Their presence not only honored the graduating students and the institution but also reinforced the values of patriotism and national pride among attendees.

The participation of the 222nd Philippine Navy Reservists highlighted their commitment to community engagement beyond their defense and disaster-response duties, showing their readiness to represent the Navy in ceremonial functions that foster unity, respect, and honor for the country’s symbols.
