May 28, 2026 marked the 7th Activation Day celebration of the Office of Maintenance and Repair Afloat, MC11. This milestone, held at PNGC, NSJF, Taguig City, was marked with meaningful activities that strengthened camaraderie, teamwork and organizational pride.
During the program, the CO, MCABBn, LTCOL REYMUND E TERIO PN(M) and CO, MCEBn, LTCOL JAYSON K FRIAS PN(M) shared their greetings.

One of the highlights of the event was the audio visual presentation of the officeโ€™s history, reflecting the milestones, dedication, and collective efforts that shaped M&RA, MC11 through the years. The celebration also included a raffle draw and various interactive games, which provided entertainment and enjoyment for all attendees, team members and as well as the AC of MS for M&RA, MC11, COL KRISTINE B SALON PN(M)(GSC).

The said event featured a denim-themed attire, wherein MAJ LADYBETH B ALAGASI PN(M) and LTCOL JAYSON K FRIAS PN(M) were judged as the M&R Stars of the Night for their outstanding participation.

This memorable occasion truly showcased the commitment, enthusiasm, and strong spirit of the entire PMC, ONSE Family as they continue to work together toward excellence and great service.

The two-day Maintenance and Repair Afloat Family Conference was successfully conducted on May 28โ€“29, 2026 at PNGC, NSJF, Taguig City. MC11 personnel facilitated the said activity under the leadership of the AC of MS for Maintenance and Repair Afloat, MC11, COL KRISTINE B SALON PN(M)(GSC), with the participation of personnel from MCABBn headed by CO, MCABBn, LTCOL REYMUND E TERIO PN(M), MCEBn personnel headed by CO, MCEBn, LTCOL JAYSON K FRIAS PN(M) together with AABn, FRR, 10MRBn, 9MRBn and 6MRBn personnel.

The conference served as a venue to strengthen coordination, improve capability of maintenance personnel and enhance understanding on key maintenance and repair concerns through discussions on the dissemination of Maintenance and Repair Directives, revised SOP on Sea Duty Pay, capability assessment on DOTMPLF of afloat assets with presentation of outputs, discussion of problems encountered in the preparation of Bidding Documents and presentation of supporting documents for Small Value Procurement.

This Family Conference reaffirmed the commitment of all participating units toward improving operational readiness, efficiency and effective mission support for afloat maintenance and repair operations.
This activity highlighted the tagline, Serbisyong PMC Onse: Mabilis, Magaling, Maaasahan.

On May 8, 2026, the AC of MS for Maintenance and Repair Afloat MC11, COL KRISTINE B SALON PN(M)(GSC) successfully spearheaded ''O/MC11 Sports Tournament'' in compliance with the directive of the Commandant, Philippine Marine Corps, on learning to play various sports and enhancing skills development. All officers, enlisted personnel and civilian employees actively participated and show their sportsmanship. As a result, 100% of O/MC11 personnel can now play different sports such as darts, table tennis, aside from badminton, golf, basketball, volleyball and running. This simple activity was a truly memorable experience that fostered personal growth, strengthened camaraderie, and promoted unity among all participants.

On April 24, 2026, under the leadership of COL KRISTINE B. SALON PN(M)(GSC) the AC of MS for Maintenance and Repair Afloat, MC11, successfully conducted โ€œPMC Onse Got Talentโ€. This activity was held in compliance with the directive of the Commandant, Philippine Marine Corps, on learning various musical instruments and enhancing skills development. All officers and enlisted personnel actively participated and successfully learned to play musical instrument. Therefore, 100% of OMC11 personnel can now perform at least 1 musical instrument such as harmonica, flute, piano, guitar, electric drums and cajon/beatbox. Showing commitment not only to operational efficiency but also to personal growth, camaraderie, and excellence beyond their core duties.

Last April 15, 2026, MC11 personnel led by the AC of MS for Maintenance and Repair Afloat MC11, COL KRISTINE B SALON PN(M)(GSC) together with the representatives from different branches of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), participated in a stakeholders' engagement and product presentation hosted by Black Armor Industries Corporation at Verbena Hall, Lanson Place, Mall of Asia.
They featured product overview and technical discussions from various companies; Cummins Philippines, Keypoint & KPE LTD, and Airglide Asia, which focused on solutions designed to support operational readiness.
Our objective is to evaluate advanced industrial products, identify specialized equipments for modernization and explore collaborative opportunities with global partners.

On April 14, 2026, MC11 personnel led by the Chief, Repair Branch, MAJ JULITO O ABALOS JR PN(M) and Chief, Maintenance & Sustainment Branch, MAJ LADYBETH B ALAGASI PN(M) participated in the conducted initial inspection by Josefa Slipways Inc and Yanmar Holdings Co, both focusing on the floating assets of the Philippine Marine Corps aboard in MBGL, Ternate, Cavite. These inspection activities were undertaken to assess the current condition and operational readiness of our assets. Thereafter, a product presentation was conducted by Rouvia Road Yacht Design & Construction Corp, they provided an overview of their capabilities, proposed solutions, and potential contributions to the modernization of PMC's floating assets, as it is part of market scoping and establishing connection and relationship with possible proponents and SME's.
