Welding Safety: Identifying HIGH-RISK Practices
Unsafe welding practices often stem from complacency, inadequate training, or failure to use proper personal protective equipment (PPE), leading to significant risks like electric shock, toxic fume inhalation, burns, and fires. The injury rate for welding is substantially higher than in many other industries, making strict adherence to safety guidelines crucial.

FIRE SAFETY UPDATE I ISO 3941:2026 introduces a NEW FIRE CLASS: CLASS L approved by the International Organization for Standardization.
CLASS L is dedicated to LITHIUM-ION Battery Fires. Previously, lithium-ion battery fires were often managed under the classification of Class A or Class B fires.
Lithium Battery Hazards:
- Thermal Runaway
- Re-ignition Risk
- Toxic Smoke & Gas
Why this Matters:
- Lithium-Ion Batteries: Unique & High-Risk Fire Hazards.
- Thermal Runaway: Risk of intense heat and re-ignition.
- Legacy Classes Inadequate: Standard methods often failed.
- Need for Specialized Solutions: Proper tools for modern tech.
STAY ALERT: One battery can cause a major fire!
