โข Typhoon DOMENG will begin moving northward starting this morning before turning north northeastward towards southern Japan. This tropical cyclone will likely exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) this morning or afternoon.
โข DOMENG has likely reached its peak intensity and will maintain its strength while moving over Okinawa, Japan. Afterwards, weakening trend is expected.
Considering these developments, the public and disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned are advised to take all necessary measures to protect life and property. Persons living in areas identified to be highly or very highly susceptible to these hazards are advised to follow evacuation and other instructions from local officials.
