DAR Davao del Norte team has wrapped up an intensive, highly productive 4-day 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐮𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 (𝐂𝐒𝐎𝐬) in the Davao region. This extensive event served as a vital platform for bridging operational gaps, resolving ground-level challenges, and accelerating the implementation of Project SPLIT through genuine collaboration.

Top DAR leadership set a strong tone for the gathering, with 𝑹𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑫𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓 𝑱𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒑𝒉 𝑯. 𝑶𝒓𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒂, emphasizing that open dialogue is the bedrock of the project's success. Concurrently, 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝑺𝒆𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝑼𝒃𝒂𝒍𝒅𝒐 𝑹. 𝑺𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏 𝑱𝒓. (𝑷𝑷𝑹𝑶) urged everyone to confront implementation bottlenecks head-on to ensure the ultimate benefit goes to our agrarian reform beneficiaries.

To ground the discussions, the assembly dove into critical policy frameworks, including 𝐷𝐴𝑅 𝐴𝑑𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝑂𝑟𝑑𝑒𝑟 𝑁𝑜. 2 (𝑆𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑠 𝑜𝑓 2024), 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝐺𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑣𝑎𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑅𝑒𝑑𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑠 𝑀𝑒𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑖𝑠𝑚 (𝐺𝑅𝑀), 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐸𝑛𝑣𝑖𝑟𝑜𝑛𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑎𝑙 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑆𝑜𝑐𝑖𝑎𝑙 𝑆𝑎𝑓𝑒𝑔𝑢𝑎𝑟𝑑𝑠 (𝐸𝑆𝑆).

The core of the event then transitioned into an intensive, output-driven workshop where our local leadership truly shone. Standing shoulder-to-shoulder with local CSOs, 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗣𝗢 𝗜𝗜 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗼 𝗘. 𝗦𝘂𝗮𝘆𝗯𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗼, 𝗢𝗜𝗖 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗣𝗢 𝗜 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗲 𝗩. 𝗖𝗮𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗹𝗮, 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗣𝗢 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗧𝗜𝗗 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮 𝗜. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀, 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝘆. 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗼 𝗔. 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗼𝘆, 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗢 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 meticulously analyzed local concerns, immediately transforming challenges into concrete action plans and realistic timelines.

The 4-day program culminated in a series of provincial presentations to ensure region-wide alignment and accountability. Representing the province with distinction, 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗣𝗢 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮 𝗜. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀 took the stage to present Davao del Norte’s consolidated data and action strategies. Following a constructive Q&A session, the final sessions featured a thorough review of the outputs by top management. 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗥𝗦 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹 𝗣. 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, alongside 𝗗𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗢 𝗫𝗜 𝗔𝗥𝗗 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗝𝘂𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦. 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗮, 𝗝𝗿., carefully evaluated the recommended actions and agreed timelines. Their evaluation ensures that all commitments made during the consultation are strictly implemented and monitored moving forward.

The collaborative event officially concluded with closing remarks from 𝗗𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗢 𝗫𝗜 𝗔𝗥𝗗 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝗔. 𝗬𝗯𝗮𝗻̃𝗲𝘇, who expressed deep appreciation for the collective efforts of all participants and solidified the region's unified approach.

𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗠 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴

The Provincial Agrarian Reform Coordinating Committee (PARCCOM) conducted its 5th Regular Meeting on May 21, 2026, at the Department of Agrarian Reform Provincial Office in Mankilam, Tagum City, to discuss pressing issues and concerns related to the implementation of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) in the province. The meeting gathered key stakeholders and agrarian reform implementers to strengthen coordination and ensure the continuous delivery of services to agrarian reform beneficiaries.

Among those who participated in the activity were MARPO Henry T. Marin, SARPT Imelda P. Fundador, and ARPO II Edelyn M. Igar. During the meeting, the participants discussed Memorandum Circular No. 4, Series of 2014, particularly on the updates of landholdings and related concerns affecting the implementation of agrarian reform programs. The discussion highlighted the importance of accurate data validation, monitoring, and proper documentation to support land acquisition and distribution efforts.

The meeting also served as a venue for planning and strategizing future actions and interventions to address challenges encountered in the field. PARCCOM members emphasized the importance of collaboration among partner agencies and stakeholders in promoting efficient program implementation, resolving agrarian-related concerns, and advancing the welfare of agrarian reform beneficiaries across the province

𝐃𝐀, 𝐃𝐀𝐑 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐃𝐔𝐅𝐅𝐀𝐌𝐂𝐎’𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐅𝐅𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐒 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐆𝐄𝐏𝐒

The Dujali Free Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperative (DUFFAMCO), with the support of the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office XI and the Department of Agrarian Reform Region XI, successfully coordinated the registration to the Farmers and Fisherfolk Enterprise Development Information System (FFEDIS).

Regional PAHP Focal Person Alexia Lou Almasco and ARPO II Mark Joseph A. Marin provided assistance to DUFFAMCO during the registration process to help strengthen the cooperative’s enterprise operations, widen market opportunities, and access possible government interventions and support services.

The activity reflects the strong commitment of partner agencies and stakeholders in supporting farmers’ organizations toward sustainable enterprise development and improved livelihood opportunities.

In addition, DUFFAMCO also initiated its registration with the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) to further expand its access to government procurement opportunities and potential institutional markets.

In commitment to continuous service improvement and organizational excellence, personnel from the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Provincial Office of Davao del Norte are gathered today, May 19, 2026, for a 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩.

A total of 21 designated personnel, from our provincial leaders to our field officers, are actively participating in this session to learn how to identify, assess, and manage operational challenges. The team is focusing on building proactive strategies to safeguard agency workflows and streamline project implementation.

By strengthening our internal processes today, we pave the way for more resilient, efficient, and uninterrupted public service delivery for our agrarian reform beneficiaries and clients moving forward.

The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Provincial Office of Davao del Norte conducted a CDA and PhilGEPS orientation, organized by the Program Beneficiaries Development Division (PBBD) in partnership with RSSD XI, which took place at the DAR Provincial Office Conference Room in Mankilam, Tagum City.

Held in preparation for the upcoming Regional Program Orientation and Planning Session of the DAR-CDA Solidarity and Partnership for Prosperity through Agrarian Reform Cooperatives (SPPARC), the activity aligns operations with the 2026 Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Development and Sustainability Program. It equipped participants, including DAR staff, farmers’ groups, and cooperative representatives from various municipalities, with knowledge of cooperative registration, governance, compliance, government support services, and access to public procurement and market opportunities.

The event aims to strengthen organizational and enterprise capabilities of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations (ARBOs), improve coordination among implementers, and support sustainable livelihood development for farming communities.

Guided by the motto “Kapit-Bisig, Sama-Sama sa Lupang Masagana, Serbisyo para sa Magsasaka," DAR Davao del Norte remains committed to empowering farmers and advancing agrarian development in the province.

The Department of Agrarian Reform Davao del Norte (DAR-DN), in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), successfully conducted the activity titled “Connecting ARBOs to Markets: Business Matching and Marketing Strategies” on May 11, 2026, at the Bulwagan ng Karunungan, Government Center, Tagum City, Davao del Norte.

The activity gathered Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations (ARBOs) and representatives from malls, convenience stores, and business establishments to discuss marketing opportunities and supplier requirements aimed at strengthening market access for ARBO products.

The program opened with welcome remarks from Zerline T. Balleque, who emphasized the importance of empowering ARBOs through sustainable market linkages and partnerships.

Representatives from Robinsons Supermarket Corporation, Gaisano Grand, NCCC Mall of Tagum, JS Gaisano, Davao Central Convenience Store, DAGOEMC Consumer Store, and the Davao del Norte Pasalubong Center shared valuable insights on product standards, supplier qualifications, and marketing strategies.

The activity served as an avenue for ARBOs to explore potential business partnerships and enhance their competitiveness in the local market, supporting DAR’s continuing efforts toward inclusive rural development and economic growth for agrarian reform beneficiaries.
