The Enforcement and Investor Protection Department (EIPD) of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has issued an advisory against METAMAX ASIAN INC./METAMAX which has operations within SEC-Davaoโ€™s Area of Responsibility (Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, Cotabato City and Maguindanao Province).

As posted on their Website, one can invest by registering first, then you can choose from any of the following seven (7) Star Packages with corresponding tasks by simply watching videos and give ratings of at least 4 star or 5 star for 90 days.

The records of the Commission show that METAMAX ASIAN INC. and METAMAX are NOT AUTHORIZED to solicit investments from the public since it has not secured prior registration and/or license from the Commission as prescribed under Section 8 and 28 of the Securities Regulation Code (SRC).

The scheme employed by METAMAX ASIAN INC./METAMAX has the characteristics of a โ€œPonzi Schemeโ€ where monies from new investors are used in paying โ€œfake profitsโ€ to prior investors and is designed mainly to favor its top recruiters and prior risk takers and is detrimental to subsequent members in case of scarcity of new investors.

The SEC also issued another set of advisories against several entities soliciting investments from the public without the necessary licenses:

1. EMPRESSLY SKIN CARE CENTER CORP.
2. ELLA RECCAโ€™S KITCHEN
3. GRAND HORIZON INTERNATIONAL
4. BASS OIL
5. SPOTIPAY
6. SKYLINE CRYPTO AND DRY GOODS TRADING
7. NEW WORLD AI
8. JUMP MINING, JUMP MINING TRADE PLATFORM, and JUMPMINING INTERNATIONAL GROUP
9. PINK CLOSET PH CLOTHING
10. JET ENTERPRISE
11. BFO TRADING
12. AZARCON VENTURES
13. BEEF EXFRESH (KAMBAL PARES)
14. AUTOMATRADE ROBOTS TRADING
15. TRADETECH ASIA

For the complete list of advisories and issuance, please visit https://www.sec.gov.ph

We are reminding the public to exercise caution when dealing with individuals or groups soliciting investments for and on their behalf.
