With its endeavor to be consistent and committed in strengthening the readiness of the Local Government Units (LGUs) specifically, in the Provincial Assessor’s Office Davao del Norte after the roll-out of the Local Assessment Manual (LAM) 2025 on its relevance to the Real Property Valuation and Reform Act (R.A.12001), a 3-Day Follow-Through Training on the New Application of the Approved Schedule of Market Values (SMV) for the Assessment Personnel is conducted to deepen the understanding of the significance and its vital purpose in the field of Real Property Assessment and Services. The new framework aims to modernize and standardize real property valuation and assessment throughout the country by promoting a more uniform, transparent, equitable, and technically sound system. The consistent application of these reforms is vital in achieving a fair, equitable, transparent, accurate, and nationally consistent real property valuation and assessment services, thereby contributing to improved local revenue administration and the overall development of the Province of Davao del Norte.

More importantly, this training served as an essential tool through capacity-building activity to support the implementation of the new reforms in real property valuation and assessment. Through lectures, practical field demonstrations, assessment computation exercises, open forums, and technical discussions, the participants were able to enhance their competence and gain a clearer understanding of the proper application of the approved SMV through the guidance and mandates from the Local Assessment Manual (LAM) 2025 and Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act (RPVARA).

The 3-Day training was held at Loleng’s Mountain Spring Resort, Toril, Davao City last August 19-21,2026 headed by the Provincial Assessor, Engr. Lily M. Salazar, CE,MPA,REA.
