DOÑA MARGARITA MAGSANOC-AALA , the only daughter of Quirino Magsanoc, a Jeweler who hails from Mangatarem, Pangasinan and her mother Crispina Salcedo belongs to the Sison Clan in Pangasinan. On May 14, 1968, she donated 22.3811 hectares of land to the Province to be used as the Capitol site. This donation came through her friendship with Senator Landring Almendras and Congressman Lorenzo Sarmiento.
