VVCES recently hosted a heartwarming orientation to ignite young minds through reading, attended by enthusiastic parents and eager learners. Dr. Arlene C. Pamitalan, the School Principal IV, warmly welcomed everyone with a message about the joy and power of books. She emphasized how reading builds confidence and opens doors to new worlds, setting a joyful tone for the event.
The program was brought to life by Mrs. Dolores M. Palmero, the Reading Coordinator, along with Mrs. Jeanril A. Mangaron, Pres. Krystal Joy M. Consina and Mrs. Liza P. Daipan. They shared creative ways to make reading an adventure, using stories, games, and interactive activities. The room buzzed with energy as children laughed and raised hands eagerly, while parents nodded in agreement, proof that when families and schools collaborate, learning becomes a shared celebration.
This initiative shines a light on how communities can nurture young readers. By blending education with excitement, VVCES isnโt just teaching kids to read, itโs helping them fall in love with stories. Free lunch and snacks will be given to the Kindergarten and Grade 1 learners sponsored by the LGU.
