𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗔𝗗𝗔 𝗘𝗦𝗞𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟱 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗘

As we officially conclude the 5th and final day of 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗔𝗗𝗔 𝗘𝗦𝗞𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞, under the leadership of our ever-dynamic 𝐒𝐊 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧, 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐨, successfully conducted the distribution of free arroz caldo to students, parents, teachers, and Brigada Eskwela volunteers across the three schools of Visayan Village.

This meaningful initiative was made possible through the collective efforts of the 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥, headed by Prime Minister 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻, together with the VVBYDC Members, 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘇 and 𝗞𝗮𝗱𝗵𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗺𝗶𝗼, and the active Katipunan ng Kabataan Presidents, youth volunteers, and community partners who continuously demonstrated the true spirit of volunteerism and service.

As Brigada Eskwela 2026 comes to a close, we celebrate the power of unity, volunteerism, and community partnership. Together, we have not only prepared our schools for another academic year but have also strengthened the bonds that make Visayan Village a community that cares.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | SK Visayan Village Recognized for Sustained Support of Youth Literacy Initiatives

Following the successful completion of the Sugil-Baybay: Literacy Youth Fellowship Program, Tagum Nurturing Growth through Literacy, Art, and Writing (TANGLAW) formally recognized the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay Visayan Village for its institutional support.

In alignment with its mandate to advance active citizenship and education, SK Visayan Village partnered with TANGLAW by fully sponsoring the official event T-shirts for the 25 participating youth delegates.

This material support facilitated a cohesive and well-equipped fellowship program, reflecting the local youth council's broader, steadfast commitment to empowering Tagum City's youth through collaborative community endeavors and literacy development.

The 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞 is inviting all members of the 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗽𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 (𝗞𝗞), 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 to join us in making a difference during 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐝𝐚 𝐄𝐬𝐤𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 on 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, across all schools in Visayan Village, Tagum City.

Meet up place and Time: 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹; 𝟴:𝟬𝟬 𝗔.𝗠.

As we prepare our schools for the incoming academic year, we aim to promote the spirit of bayanihan through meaningful acts of service. Together, we will:

- Distribute free arroz caldo to Brigada Eskwela participants and volunteers
- Help clean, beautify, and maintain the school environment
- Foster unity, volunteerism, and community involvement among the youth

This is more than just a school clean-up activity, it's an opportunity to serve, connect, and contribute to a better learning environment for our students.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | THE BARANGAY YOUTH DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (BYDC) ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Visayan Village officially presents the finalized organizational structure of the Barangay Youth Development Council (BYDC). To maximize sectoral representation and operational efficiency, the council has implemented a specialized dual-executive parliamentary model.

The Statutory Council (Left): Led by SK Chairperson Shiela Mae Orillo Maningo, the elected SK officials function as the primary executive branch. This chamber retains full legal and fiscal accountability, ensuring that all youth initiatives strictly comply with government regulations and the approved Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program (ABYIP).

The BYDC Parliament (Right): Led by the Prime Minister, Valerie Cabualan, this legislative and policy-driven branch comprises the official representatives from registered community, school, and faith-based youth organizations. Operating through assigned ministries, this chamber is responsible for program origination, and the ex*****on of the Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan (CBYDP).

Last Sunday, May 24, 2026, the 𝘚𝘒𝘓𝘠𝘔𝘗𝘐𝘊𝘚 2026 𝘉𝘢𝘴𝘬𝘦𝘵𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘎𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘴 officially concluded after an action-packed showdown filled with heart, hustle, and pirate pride! From clutch shots to intense rivalries, every crew gave their all and showcased true sportsmanship on the court as they battled for supremacy in the final stretch of the tournament.

Through every challenge and every game, His grace remained our anchor throughout this journey.

The representative in each organizations convened for their inaugural meeting as the Council of Ministers earlier today, May 24, 2026, at the SK Office, Barangay Visayan Village.

Highlighting the meeting was the official appointment of the Barangay Youth Development Council officers, marking a step in the group's organizational structure.

The appointed officials are:
Prime Minister: Valerie Cabualan
Minister of Records: Althea Avenir
Minister of Finance: Faith Fernandez

The rest of the council are considered as members in the parliament.

The Council also discussed strategic plans, proposed activities for the year, and coordinated with representatives from various youth and faith-based organizations within the Barangay Youth Development Council.

These initiatives are scheduled to be presented for approval during the upcoming Monthly Regular Meeting with the Sangguniang Kabataan Council of Barangay Visayan Village.
