A coordination meeting was conducted with the Honorable Barangay Chairwoman Sherie Tulawie and the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) SK Bilaan Officials to discuss upcoming plans, programs , key plans, programs, and initiatives intended to promote youth development and community welfare.
The meeting served as an opportunity to strengthen collaboration, align priorities, and reaffirm our collective commitment to delivering responsive and meaningful service to the barangay.

The 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗮𝗻 spearheaded by 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝓗𝓸𝓷. 𝓗𝓳𝓪 𝓢𝓱𝓮𝓻𝓲𝓮 𝓜𝓪𝓮 𝓣𝓾𝓵𝓪𝔀𝓲𝓮- 𝓢𝓪𝓴𝓪𝓷𝓭𝓪𝓵 Sherie Tulawie and our very own 𝗥𝗵𝘂 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝓜𝓪'𝓪𝓶 𝓡𝓪𝓷𝓲𝓪 𝓡𝓪𝓼𝓾𝓵 together with the team and has launched Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MRSIA) campaign caravan for children aged 6-59 mos. The campaign, which will be implemented from today to February 13, 2026.

The Barangay Bilaan Officials and including 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙧 Lhay Bakil and 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝙉𝙪𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙧 Wheng Asmad of Talipao participated in the MRSIA campaign caravan. The campaign aims to protect children aged 6 to 59 months and to contribute to the elimination of measles rubella, and strengthening the immunity of children from measles and rubella, which will also include supplementation with Vitamin A.

In celebration of 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 and in line with this year’s theme, "𝙊𝙎𝘼𝙀𝘾 𝘾𝙎𝘼𝙀𝙈 :𝙒𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣, 𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙩𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙩 𝙆𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙣 𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙖𝙩𝙖, 𝙄𝙥𝙖𝙜𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙣 our Barangay proudly hosted 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒋𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝑲𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒂𝒏: 𝑲𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒕𝒂𝒔𝒂𝒏 𝒔𝒂 𝑩𝒂𝒈𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝑻𝒆𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒉𝒊𝒚𝒂 𝒂𝒕 𝑨𝒌𝒔𝒚𝒐𝒏 𝑳𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒏 𝒔𝒂 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏—an empowering initiative dedicated to safeguarding our youth in today’s rapidly evolving digital world.

This project reflects our deep commitment to protecting children’s rights and ensuring their safety, especially in the face of emerging online threats. As technology advances, so do the risks of exploitation, cyberbullying, and abuse, making it essential that our young people are well-informed about their rights and equipped with the tools to navigate digital spaces safely.

𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐰𝐬 𝐑𝐀 𝟗𝟐𝟔𝟐 (𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭, 𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟒): Covers domestic violence affecting children, enabling protection orders and support services.​

𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐰𝐬 𝐑𝐀 𝟗𝟐𝟔𝟐 (𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭, 𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟒) with stricter enforcement, content moderation, international cooperation, and victim support; IRRs effective 2023-2024.​

Our community youth actively participated in workshops that emphasized:
📍Recognizing and reporting online exploitation and abuse
📍Understanding digital privacy and security
📍Legal protections afforded to children under Philippine law
📍Encouraging a culture of respect, vigilance, and support among peers

This project was not only educational but a powerful reminder that keeping children safe is a collective responsibility. Lawmakers, parents, educators, barangay officials, and young leaders came together to strengthen the protective environment that every child deserves.

As we mark National Children’s Month, let us all continue to be vigilant advocates, promoting awareness and action that ensures the well-being and rights of every child in our community. The future is bright when our children grow up safe, educated, and empowered.

Together, let’s champion the cause of our youth — because their safety today guarantees a stronger nation tomorrow.

𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐚𝐧(𝐏𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐧) proudly joins the nationwide observance of 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, with the theme : 𝑴𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒚 𝑺𝒂𝒇𝒆 𝑺𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆, 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝑨 𝑹𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑺𝒂𝒎𝒂-𝒔𝒂𝒎𝒂 𝒕𝒂𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒐 𝒏𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒕𝒂𝒔 𝒂𝒕 𝒎𝒂𝒔𝒂𝒚𝒂; 𝑴𝒂𝒑𝒂 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒏 𝒐 𝒐𝒇𝒇𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆, 𝑾𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒎𝒃𝒂, our commitment to promoting the right of every child to safe, meaningful, and developmentally appropriate play. In partnership with parents, Daycare Childrens, youth organizations, and community stakeholders, the barangay organized a series of structured and supervised play activities designed to foster holistic growth, strengthen family and community bonds, and encourage active participation of children in a secure environment. This celebration underscores the barangay’s dedication to creating inclusive public spaces and programs where children can learn, socialize, and thrive through play as an essential part of their well-being and future. By reciting the Panatang Makabata together with the Parents and Barangay Staff to ensure every child needs to know their rights . We also highligted the essence of Play in showcasing Palarong Pambatang Pilipino.
