LGU TALITAY CONDUCTS 3RD QUARTER JOINT MEETING

The Local Government Unit of Talitay successfully conducted the 3rd Quarter Joint Meeting of the Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Cluster and Social Protection Cluster on September 25, 2026, at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Talitay, Maguindanao del Norte.

The meeting was actively participated in by the members of both clusters, together with representatives from various line agencies and concerned offices. The activity provided an avenue to discuss current concerns, review programs and accomplishments, and strengthen coordination and collaboration in promoting peace, public safety, social protection, and responsive local governance.

The LGU Talitay continues to strengthen its partnership with different stakeholders and line agencies toward a peaceful, safe, and socially responsive municipality.

LGU Talitay Successfully Conducts BPAT and CFAG Training

The Local Government Unit of Talitay successfully conducted the Empowering Community Frontliners: Skills Enhancement Training for Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team (BPAT) and Community Fire Auxiliary Group (CFAG) on September 28–29, 2026 at the Poblacion Gymnasium, Talitay, Maguindanao del Norte.

The training was facilitated by PCPT Klyde John G. Albores, Chief of Police, Talitay MPS, and FINSP Joselito Oclarino, Fire Marshal, BFP Datu Odin Sinsuat–Talitay and other BFP Personnel who shared their knowledge and expertise on peacekeeping, community safety, fire prevention, and emergency response.

The activity aimed to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and preparedness of BPAT and CFAG members as community frontliners and partners of the LGU in maintaining peace, order, public safety, and disaster resilience.

Congratulations to all BPAT and CFAG participants! Especially to all 9 Barangay Captain who supported the said event 🤝🚨🔥

BALIK-BARIL PROGRAM | TALITAY

The Municipality of Talitay successfully participated in the Balik-Baril Program, resulting in the voluntary surrender of 11 high-powered fi****ms last October 3, 2026.

This initiative reflects the continued cooperation of the community and security sector in promoting peace, public safety, and a secure municipality.

The LGU Talitay and 9 BLGU remains committed to supporting programs that strengthen peace and order and community security.

GRAND RECONCILIATION KANDULI, ISINAGAWA SA TALITAY, MAGUINDANAO DEL NORTE PARA SA KAPAYAPAAN AT PAGKAKAISA!

Matagumpay na isinagawa ng Municipality of Talitay, Maguindanao del Norte ang Grand Reconciliation Kanduli na may temang "Pagkakaisa sa Paniniwala, Kapayapaan sa Komunidad" ngayong araw ng Miyerkules,Setyembre 30, 2026 sa Municipal Covered Court,Poblacion Talitay Maguindanao Del Norte.

Pinangunahan ni Mayor Sidik S.Ameril Al Hadj ang makasaysayang pagtitipon sa bayan ng Talitay na dinaluhan ng mga opisyal ng lokal na pamahalaan, tradisyunal na lider, kinatawan ng Armed Forces of the Philippines, at iba't ibang sektor ng komunidad.

Layunin ng Grand Kanduli na itaguyod ang pagkakasundo at pagpapatawad sa pagitan ng mga pamilyang dati ay may hidwaan, bilang bahagi ng mas malawak na peacebuilding efforts ng LGU Talitay. Sa pamamagitan ng tradisyunal na salu-salong Kanduli, ipinakita ang kultura ng Islam na nagpapahalaga sa kapayapaan, paggalang, at pag-unawa.

Kabilang sa mga dumalo at nakita sa presidium sina Abdullah M. Sabal, si Ltc William G. Sabado, ARM GSC PA ng Philippine Army, MP Alindatu Pagayao, Kinatawan ni Propincial Gov.Tucao Mastura CPAat iba pa.

Ayon sa pamahalaang lokal, ang aktibidad ay sumasalamin sa kanilang panawagan na "One Community, One Faith" na ang tunay na kaunlaran ay makakamit lamang kung may pagkakaisa sa paniniwala at kapayapaan sa komunidad.

Nagpaabot ng mensahe ng pasasalamat ang LGU Talitay sa lahat ng nakiisa at nanawagan na ipagpatuloy ang diwa ng reconciliation hindi lamang sa isang araw ng Kanduli, kundi sa araw-araw na pamumuhay ng bawat Talitaynon.

GRAND KANDULI 🤍💚 |

Sa Grand Kanduli, isang simpleng eksena ang talagang nakakuha ng aking attention. Si Bai Janine Ampatuan Amiril, asawa ni Mayor Sidik S. Amiril, ay may pagkakataong umupo sa harapan, katabi ng kanyang asawa, dahil natural lamang na ganoon ang inaasahan sa isang First Lady.

Pero mas pinili niyang umupo sa likod, kasama ang mga empleyado at mga tao. ❤️

Hindi dahil wala siyang lugar sa harapan. Hindi dahil hindi siya dapat nandoon. Kundi dahil mas pinili niyang makasama ang mga tao at masigurong lahat ay nakakakain.

Habang ang iba ay abala sa kanilang sariling puwesto, makikita si Bai Janine na nasa likod, nakikisalamuha, tumutulong at tinitingnan kung maayos bang nabibigyan ng pagkain ang lahat. Sa simpleng kilos na iyon, makikita mo ang isang babaeng hindi maarte, hindi mapili at hindi nagpapakitang-gilas dahil lamang sa kanyang katayuan.

Kung tutuusin, napakadali para sa kanya na piliin ang pinaka-magandang upuan sa harapan—katabi ng Mayor, visible sa lahat, at nasa lugar na karaniwang inilaan para sa mga bisitang may mataas na posisyon. Pero hindi iyon ang pinili niya.

Mas pinili niya ang likod. Mas pinili niya ang mga empleyado. Mas pinili niyang makasiguro na walang maiiwan at lahat ay makakakain.

At dito mo makikita na ang pagiging simple at humble ay hindi kailangang ipagsigawan. Makikita ito sa paraan ng pakikitungo mo sa ibang tao, lalo na sa mga taong hindi naman kailangang magbigay sa iyo ng anumang kapalit.

Hindi mo kailangang nasa harapan para mapansin. Hindi mo kailangang katabi ng Mayor para malaman ng lahat kung sino ka. Dahil minsan, ang tunay na elegance ay makikita sa pagiging simple, at ang tunay na class ay makikita sa pagiging marunong makisama at makiramdam sa iba. 🤍

Sa Grand Kanduli, hindi man siya nasa spotlight, ang kanyang simpleng kilos ang isa sa mga bagay na tunay na kapansin-pansin.
A woman who could choose privilege, but chose to be with the people.

A woman who could sit in front, but chose to sit at the back.
A woman who simply wanted to make sure that everyone had something to eat. ❤️

Mandatory Drug Testing Activity

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Talitay successfully conducted a Mandatory Drug Testing Activity for LGU officials and employees, (9 Barangays) Barangay Officials, Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Officials, Barangay Tanods, Barangay Peacekeeping Action Teams (BPATs), and Persons Who Use Drugs (PWUDs).

The activity aimed to promote a drug-free workplace and community, strengthen the government's anti-illegal drug campaign, and ensure that public servants and community stakeholders uphold integrity, accountability, and responsible leadership.

Through this initiative, participants demonstrated their commitment to supporting the government's efforts in maintaining peace and order, enhancing public trust, and fostering a safe and healthy environment for all residents. The activity also reinforced the importance of collective action in preventing substance abuse and promoting community well-being.

The LGU remains steadfast in its commitment to implementing programs and activities that contribute to a drug-free, peaceful, and progressive community.

The Dialogue for Peace: Community Engagement on Rido Prevention and Settlement was successfully conducted by the Province of Maguindanao del Norte under the leadership of Datu Tucao O. Mastura, Chairperson of the Provincial Peace and Order Council.

The activity aimed to strengthen community participation in preventing and resolving rido (clan feuds), promote peaceful conflict resolution, and foster unity among local government units and community stakeholders.

The event was actively participated in by the Municipal Peace and Order Council headed by Sidik S. Amiril, together with members of the Barangay Peace and Order Councils and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Chairpersons from nine barangays, Community Leaders and Council of Elders.

Through meaningful discussions and collaborative engagement, participants shared insights, experiences, and strategies for maintaining peace and order within their communities. The dialogue highlighted the importance of cooperation among provincial, municipal, and barangay leaders in addressing conflicts and sustaining harmonious relationships among residents.

The activity reaffirmed the commitment of all stakeholders to work collectively toward lasting peace, stability, and development in their respective communities.
