MAYOR ROXANNE PIMENTEL WELCOMES DILG-GK TEAM FOR PH-OGP LOCALIZATION

Mayor Roxanne Pimentel warmly received officials from DILG Caraga and the Gawad Kalinga Community Development Foundation, Inc. (GKCDFI) yesterday, June 1, 2026, for a courtesy call and briefing.

The delegation was led by Dr. Victor Emmanuel A. Ozarraga, GK Institute Director and designated DILG Caraga Facilitator, along with his technical staff.

The visit highlights the localization of the Philippine Open Government Partnership (PH-OGP) under Executive Order No. 31, s. 2023. Through the DILG’s Support for the Local Governance Program (SLGP), this initiative aims to institutionalize transparency, strengthen open government practices, and enhance citizen empowerment across local government units.

BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026 KICKS OFF AT JPENHS WITH CITY GOVERNMENT SUPPORT

The Opening Program of Brigada Eskwela 2026 successfully commenced today, June 1, at the Jacinto P. Elpa National High School Covered Court.

Attending on behalf of Mayor Roxanne Pimentel, City Councilors Charisse Valentine P. Pineda and Gay Geraldine G. Tan attended the said activity, bringing the Mayor's message of unity and shared responsibility in preparing safer learning spaces.

To further strengthen the school’s administrative and event capabilities, the city officials led the turnover of one (1) unit of sound system to the campus stakeholders.

WEEKLY OFFICE-TO-OFFICE CAMPAIGN ROLLS OUT AT TANDAG WATER DISTRICT

The City Government of Tandag sustained its proactive office-to-office IEC campaign today, bringing vital public policies directly to the Tandag City Water District.

The multi-sectoral team conducted an interactive briefing focused on Executive Order No. 20 (Water First Campaign), the single-use plastic ban, El Niño mitigation, and fire safety awareness.

Water District OIC Mr. Jerry Bernadas commended the campaign, noting its high relevance to their mandate and expressing strong willingness to collaborate with Mayor Roxanne Pimentel’s administration on future information drives. This continuous Monday initiative ensures that all local agencies remain actively aligned in fostering a healthier, cleaner, and more disaster-resilient Tandag.

CITY GOVERNMENT GEARS UP FOR 19TH CHARTER DAY, KARUGA FESTIVAL

Mayor Roxanne Pimentel presided over the Executive Committee Meeting on May 26, 2026, to finalize preparations for the upcoming 19th Charter Day and Karuga Festival this June.

The strategic session was attended by Department, Division, and Program heads of the city government. Discussions focused on inter-agency coordination, security protocols, and the official line-up of activities to ensure a seamless and meaningful celebration.
