PLT YAHIYA A KNAIK, Officer-In-Charge of Tandubas MPS conducted Pastoral Visit and dialogue with the personnel and constituent of Masjid Darussalam after delivering Friday Sermons at Tawi-Tawi PPO, Camp Alejandro Suarez, Bongao.

Illustrating empathy which every Muslim are required to include visiting the sick regardless of their religion.

In Islam, Pastoral care is not an option - it is a right and virtue for every Muslim and has great importance in Islam, as Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) in his hadith 1400 years ago:

"The parable of the believers in their mutual love and mercy towards one another is like that of a living body; if one part of it feels pain, the whole body suffers in sleeplessness and fever."

PLT YAHIYA A KNAIK, Officer-In-Charge of Tandubas Municipal Police Station led the Prayer (Salat-ul-Eid) and officiated the Khutbah (Sermons) early morning today at the Tawi-Tawi PPO.

A special tasking of the Tawi-Tawi PPO thru the Police Community Affairs and Development Unit under the leadership of PCOL RONALDO I FULO, Provincial Director

Celebrations often include spending time with friends and family, wearing new attire, and giving gifts.

PLT YAHIYA A KNAIK, OIC of Tandubas MPS grab the opportunity in slaughtering sacrificed animal called 𝗤𝘂𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗶, which is one of the central rituals on Eid al-Adha, an act of sacrificing a sheep, goat, or cow. As the Holy Prophet of Islam {Peace and blessings be upon him} said:

"𝘐𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘶𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘈𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘩𝘢𝘮. "

It is an honor to perform this task - to reflect the Prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son, Ismail, for the sake of Allah.

PLT YAHIYA A KNAIK, Officer-in-Charge of Tandubas MPS (PNP) witnessed the dispute settlement between the locals.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴

In response to the issue of dispute in a community, Hon. Mayor Hja. Rahiema A. Salih of the local government of Tandubas pressing the settlement between two families in Barangay Kakoong, Tandubas, Tawi-Tawi today May 7, 2022. As both parties agreed to submit themselves to preserve peace by forgetting the hate and grudges against each other.

Although Islamic law supports any dispute settled by 𝘈𝘭-𝘘𝘢𝘥𝘩𝘢 (law in court). It also calls for moral advice, the parties should make peace and settle the matter in an 𝘐𝘴𝘭𝘢𝘩 or 𝘛𝘢𝘩𝘬𝘪𝘮 (kinship) way.

“If two parties among the believers fall into a quarrel, make you peace between them […] with justice and be fair. For God loves those who are fair. The believers are but a single brotherhood; so make peace between your brothers….” (Qur'an 49:9-10)
