The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Libas invites everyone to join the โ€œLimpyo kag Tahum: Sangguniang Kabataan Clean-up Driveโ€ on September 20, 2026, at 6:00 AM, starting at the Barangay Hall, Purok Mahidaiton, Barangay Libas.

This meaningful initiative is a partnership of SK Libas, 4H Club, and PYAP, working together to promote cleanliness, environmental responsibility, volunteerism, and community participation.

Participation in this Clean-up Drive is a required community service activity for all beneficiaries of SK Libas EdukAksyon: Educational Assistance for Graduating College Students.

Please be reminded: The release of the educational assistance will be made after the clean-up drive, upon verification of the beneficiaryโ€™s participation.

NO CLEAN-UP DRIVE PARTICIPATION = NO RELEASE OF EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE.

We encourage all EdukAksyon beneficiaries to be present, participate actively, and fulfill this important requirement as a way of giving back to our community.

Let us work hand in hand in keeping Barangay Libas clean, beautiful, and environmentally responsible!

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Libas proudly received the recognition as a HIGHLY PERFORMING SK BARANGAY under the Good Exemplars for Meaningful Service (GEMS) on September 7, 2026, at the Municipality of Tantangan.

This recognition is a testament to the dedication, commitment, and collective efforts of the SK Libas in promoting good governance, meaningful youth participation, transparency, accountability, and responsive service to the youth of our barangay.

We are deeply grateful to the Provincial Government of South Cotabato, headed by Provincial Governor Hon. Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr., through the Provincial Youth Development Office, headed by Ms. Jobeelyn B. Corilla, for recognizing and inspiring Sangguniang Kabataan to continuously strive for excellence in youth governance and service.

Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to Municipal Mayor Hon. Timee Joy T. Gonzales, MLGOO Sir Fiorello G. Elizaga, and LYDO Designate Sir Jeric S. Ignacio for your continued support, guidance, encouragement, and recognition of the efforts and accomplishments of SK Libas. Your unwavering support and trust inspire us to do more, serve better, and continue striving for meaningful and responsive youth governance in our community.

This achievement is not ours aloneโ€”it is a recognition for the youth of Barangay Libas and for everyone who continues to believe in the power of youth leadership and meaningful public service.
