WEEKLY REFRESHER SKILLS ENHANCEMENT ON MEDICAL EMERGENCIES: AIRWAY MANAGEMENT

Personnel of the BFP Taraka Fire Station conducted a weekly refresher skills enhancement focused on airway management and basic airway maneuvers. The activity emphasized the proper assessment and maintenance of airway patency, including the appropriate application of the foreign-body airway obstruction, head-tilt/chin-lift and jaw-thrust maneuvers, as applicable.

The activity aims to reinforce the knowledge, proficiency, and readiness of BFP personnel in providing timely and appropriate initial emergency care to patients experiencing medical emergencies, particularly those requiring immediate airway intervention.

BARMM PARLIAMENTARY ELECTION 2026

Personnel of the BFPBARMM Taraka Fire Station, headed by Acting Municipal Fire Marshal SFO2 Arnold B Doping, under the leadership of Acting Provincial Fire Marshal FCINSP ATTY. OMAR NASSEEF D BAKONG, CPA, conducted roving operations and fire truck visibility at various polling centers within its area of responsibility.

The activity aimed to strengthen fire safety, enhance emergency preparedness, and help ensure a safe, peaceful, and orderly environment for voters exercising their right to vote.

Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-BARMM Taraka Fire Station Duty personnel led by SFO2 Arnold B Doping, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, under the supervision of FCINSP ATTY. OMAR NASSEEF D BAKONG, CPA, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, in coordination with the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), successfully conducted the 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED). This was actively participated by students and faculties at the Madarasatul Faidah Macauayag Al-Islamiyah, Inc , Brgy. Moriatao, Taraka, Lanao del Sur.

07 September 2026 | Grass Fire Incident 🚒🔥

Bureau of Fire Protection BARMM Taraka Fire Station duty personnel headed by SFO2 Arnold B Doping, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, under the supervision of FCINSP ATTY. OMAR NASSEEF D BAKONG, CPA, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, together with , MDRRMO Mulondo, promptly responded to a grass fire incident in Brgy. Kitambugun , Mulondo, Lanao del Sur. Through swift and coordinated action, the fire was immediately controlled around 1138H.

Nationwide Simultaneous School Safety Drill for Active Attack Incidents

Bureau of Fire Protection BARMM Taraka Fire Station duty personnel headed by SFO2 Arnold B Doping, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, under the supervision of FCINSP ATTY. OMAR NASSEEF D BAKONG, CPA, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, together with the Taraka Municipal Police Station, conducted Simultaneous Nationwide Safety Drill for Active Attack Incidents at Ansano Memorial National High School to strengthen the preparedness and awareness of students, teachers, and school personnel during emergencies.

The activity provided an opportunity for the school community to learn the importance of staying calm, following safety protocols, knowing evacuation routes, and responding properly during fire and other emergency situations.

Preparedness is more than a drill—it is a life-saving skill. By practicing today, we build a safer and more resilient school community tomorrow. 🧯🏫
