๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒฑ Celebrating Philippine Arbor Day 2026 at Burot Integrated School! ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒณ

In observance of Philippine Arbor Day 2026, Burot Integrated School successfully conducted its school-based tree-planting activity today, June 25, 2026, as part of its commitment to environmental protection, ecological restoration, and the promotion of a greener and healthier learning environment.

The activity was led by our School Principal, Sir Mamerto L. Ragel Jr., together with, YES-O Advisers Ma'am Leah Abaya and Sir Ador Isip, sir, Alfredo M. De Jesus Jr. for BKB Adviser, selected YES-O officers, SSLG and BKB student leaders, and dedicated faculty members. The event emphasized the importance of environmental stewardship and the shared responsibility of preserving and protecting our natural resources for future generations.

Through this meaningful initiative, Burot Integrated School continues to cultivate not only academic growth but also environmental consciousness among learners, inspiring them to become responsible citizens and active champions of sustainable development. The ๐‘ฉ๐’‚๐’“๐’Œ๐’‚๐’…๐’‚ ๐‘ฒ๐’๐’๐’•๐’“๐’‚ ๐‘ฉ๐’Š๐’”๐’š๐’ and other organization took part in a clean-up activity from the school campus. Through this initiatives, they helped keep the surroundings clean while promoting discipline, teamwork, and care for the environment. Guided by the shared commitment to nurture responsible, informed, and empowered learners, the Barkada Kontra Bisyo (BKB) Officers and student leaders of Burot Integrated School Junior High School actively participated in the 2026 Information Awareness Campaign conducted by the 31st Mechanized Infantry Company under the leadership of John Larry B. Bumagat, represented by Golda M. Pascua, on June 11, 2026. The activity aimed to empower learners with knowledge, strengthen their sense of responsibility, and inspire them to make wise decisions that contribute to a safe, disciplined, and productive community. Through meaningful discussions and shared experiences, the campaign encouraged students to become responsible citizens and positive agents of change in society.

The activity strengthened the learners' awareness on important issues that support the mission of Barkada Kontra Bisyo in promoting a safe, informed, and drug-free school community. Discussions focused on Republic Act No. 9165, the prevention of recruitment by Communist Terrorist Groups (CTGs), and the Fundamentals of Philippine Maritime Entitlementsโ€”timely topics as the nation prepares to celebrate the 128th Independence Day of the Philippines.

In addition, an orientation on the updated guidelines of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management was facilitated by Roberto Suagart Jr., further equipping student leaders with knowledge and preparedness skills.

The seminar was attended by members of the BIS Barkada Kontra Bisyo (BKB), SSLG, YES-O, BSP, peer groups, and their respective advisers, highlighting the collective commitment of the school in nurturing responsible, disciplined, and empowered youth who serve as advocates against drugs and other harmful vices.
