It's A Wrap!

After several weeks of preparations and collective efforts, with the initiative of TSU-LS SSG and with the help of LS faculty and staff, the then envisioned face-to-face recognition rites have finally come to reality.

TSU-Laboratory School's first recognition rites with the theme "Ang Muling Paglipad: Unang Pagaspas ng Husay at Talino" is the first and last face-to-face event for the academic year 2021-2022.

We, the TSU-LS SSG, would like to express our sincerest gratitude to everyone who expressed their support and extended a helping hand to make this event possible.

We hope you are all as excited as we are because TSU Laboratory School's most anticipated event of SY 2021–2022 is only one day away.

The Philippines, for the past generations, has been mired in different issues: corruption, poor governance, human rights violations, education and economic crisis, spread of misinformation, blatant injustices, and historical revisionism.

In light of this, it is imperative that our country's leaders are those with good character and an impeccable track record of good governance. We deserve leaders who are competent and committed to serving; leaders who will value every Filipino's life; leaders who will uphold and defend our rights; and leaders who will present clear and realistic platforms, plans, and solutions for our country.

As student leaders, it has always been crucial for us to take a stand for the betterment of society. We, the TSU Laboratory School - Supreme Student Government, express our formal support for Presidential and Vice Presidential aspirants Maria Leonor Robredo and Francisco Pangilinan, respectively.

Even before entering politics, Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Kiko Pangilinan have already been public servants. They have been dedicating their lives to helping and serving the Filipino people, especially those who belong in the marginalized sector.

Because of their educational background and work experience, we are assured of their competence, knowledge, and wisdom. Their programs and achievements as public servants prove that they understand the roots of our country's socio-political issues and, thus, present realistic solutions to these problems.

Their character has evidently inspired volunteerism, resulting in a collective effort of Filipinos to challenge the status quo and fight for our country and our countrymen's future. Their leadership rekindled the Filipinos' nationalism and pride. We believe that they are an epitome of hope in the midst of darkness.

It is with the reasons mentioned above that we have decided, with integrity, sincerity, and accountability, to support the candidacies of Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Kiko Pangilinan. Among all the candidates, their tandem exemplifies the values and characteristics that we, as student leaders, seek to live by.

The TSU Laboratory School - Supreme Student Government also encourages everyone to vote for senators and other public officials who will work with and for the people to ensure that our country will foster and develop.

The Filipinos have suffered enough. Now is the time that we free ourselves from tyranny. Our voices, our decisions, our actions, and the leaders we support determine the future our country holds.
