Lalo Elementary School successfully conducted its School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) session today, October 8, 2026, focusing on strengthening teachersβ knowledge and skills in fostering creative thinking, resilience, and effective stress management among learners.
The session featured two meaningful and relevant topics facilitated by our dedicated teacher-leaders.
Maβam Abbiegail A. NaΓ±ez led the discussion on βBuilding Creative Thinking and Resilience in Our Learners.β She emphasized the importance of creating learning environments where pupils are encouraged to explore ideas, think critically and creatively, overcome challenges, and develop confidence in their abilities.
Meanwhile, Sir Mark Kevin P. Ranillo facilitated the session on βBuilding Resilience and Managing Stress.β His discussion highlighted practical ways of helping learners cope with stress, face difficulties positively, and develop healthy strategies for managing emotions and challenges.
The SLAC provided an opportunity for the teaching staff to learn, share experiences, exchange practical strategies, and reflect on ways to better support the holistic development and well-being of every learner.
Through continuous professional learning and collaboration, the teachers of Lalo Elementary School remain committed to creating a supportive, resilient, and learner-centered school community where every child is empowered to think creatively, overcome challenges, and thrive.
Together, we learn. Together, we grow. Together, we build resilient and empowered learners.
