Taytay Youth Care and Intervention Center

Today, March 29, 2026, history was rewritten at Rosario Ocampo Elementary School.​With pens in hand and hope in their hearts, the residents of the Taytay Youth Care and Intervention Center and the Taytay Women and Children’s Center successfully completed the Department of Education’s Alternative Learning System (ALS) Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) Test.

​These learners, residents in our care, have proven that a difficult past does not dictate a limited future. By taking this step, they are bridging the gap between where they’ve been and where they want to go—turning "second chances" into "first-class opportunities."This isn't just a test of academic knowledge; it’s a testament to their character.

MSWDO Taytay, Rizal remains steadfast in its mandate to provide not just shelter, but a pathway to productivity. We believe that through education, our residents can transform into successful, law-abiding, and inspired members of our community.

The Practice Test for the A & E Test is currently being conducted at the Taytay Youth Care & Intervention Center for its students in the Junior High School level under the Alternative Learning System of DepEd Taytay Sub Office. The examination is being administered nationwide today. The Local Government of Taytay, through the MSWDO Taytay, ensures the provision of educational services for the youth under our care and continues to implement programs suited to their current situation, helping them reform themselves toward a renewed life and the fulfillment of their aspirations.

They explain and shared the importance of gift giving by teaching them the importance of sharing, appreciating and being thankful.

The resident of TYCIC received a pair of slippers,t-shirt,and hygienes kits. They also donate a 3 unit of wall fan and 2 sacks of rise for the center.It expressed their willingliness to continue more support in future.

DSWD Region personnel conducted a courtesy visit to the Taytay Youth Care and Intervention Center. In their initial assessment, they were happy to see that, under the leadership of Mayor Allan De Leon and the LGU of Taytay, there is a well-maintained child care facility that can provide services to Children in Conflict with the Law while awaiting the disposition of their court cases.

TYCIC is under the supervision of MSWDO Taytay, Rizal which continues its dedication in delivering a core set of services and programs to address Children in Conflict with the Law such as Basic Education through Alternative Learning System (ALS), Values ​​​​​​Formation and Spiritual Activities.

TYCIC extends its heartfelt gratitude to the "Besties for Christ and Rosario Kids" who successfully conducted their 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦, the team provided essential food packs, bible readings and also had physical activities for the residents of Taytay Youth Care and Intervention Center . The program began with a welcome remarks from Pastor Edgar Aguilar, accompanied by Sister Annaliza Aguilar, Pastor Adrian Manuel, Sister Annabel Manuel and Finnegan Esguerra who shared words of God, Motivational and Inspiring Advice. We truly appreciated the games, prizes for our residents, and the delicious lunch provided for both residents and staff on duty. The program ended successfully and brought joy to the youth in our care.

Sa kanilang pinal na pagsusuri ay kasiya-siyang nasusunod ng Taytay Youth Care and Intervention Center sa ilalim ng pangasiwaan ng MSWDO Taytay, Rizal ang isang 𝐌𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐎 𝐀𝐓 𝐌𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐊𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐏𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐍, mga 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌𝐀 𝐀𝐓 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐁𝐈𝐒𝐘𝐎 nagkakaloob upang matulungan ang mga ito sa kanilang hinahangad na pagbabago at pagkaroon ng isang matuwid at positibong pananaw upang maging kapaki-pakinabang sa komunidad sa hinaharap.

Matapos ang halos ilan taon na pamamalagi sa pangangalaga ng MSWDO Taytay, Rizal at dumaan sa proseso ng ibat ibang programa sa loob ng Taytay Youth Care and Intervention Center matagumpay na naibalik sila sa kani-kanilang pamilya alinsunod sa kautusan ng Regional Trial Court Branch 18 - Family Court. Isa sa mga naging batayan nito ay ang kanilang magandang pag uugali at kilos gayundin sila ay nabigyan ng edukasyon sa loob ng pasilidad patunay neto na sila ay kasi-siyang nakapag tapos mula sa Junior High School Level at kasalukuyang nag aaral sa Senior High School sa ilalim ng Alternative Learning System o ALS.Nagkaroon din ng mga Regular Counseling, Psychological Assessment at mga Therapeutical Activity sa loob ng pasilidad na nakatulong sa kanila upang mahubog at makapag bago at maging isang kapaki-pakinabang na mamamayan sa pamilya at komunidad.Patuloy na makikipag-ugnayan ang MSWD at pamilya para sa aftercare program.Labis labis naman ang galak at saya ng pamilya dahil sa programa at serbisyong tinanggap ng kanilang mga anak mula sa Lokal na Pamahalaang Bayan ng Taytay.Ang lahat po ng ito ay mula sa suporta at programa ng Smile Taytay sa pangunguna ni Mayor Allan De Leon .Maraming Salamat po! 💙🙏💙🙏

Matagumpay na naendorso ng Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) ang isang Child in Conflict with the Law (CICL) sa National Training School for Boys (NTSB).

Ang naturang menor de edad ay nasa pangangalaga ng Taytay Youth Care and Intervention Center (TYCIC) sa loob ng isang taon at apat na buwan para sa kanyang kaligtasan. Sa kanyang pananatili sa pasilidad, nabigyan siya ng edukasyon, kung saan matagumpay niyang natapos ang Junior High School at kasalukuyang Grade 11 student sa ilalim ng Basic Education Program. Bukod dito, natanggap din niya ang mga kinakailangang psychological counseling, serbisyong pangkalusugan, at pagsasanay sa basic life skills upang matulungan siyang muling makibahagi sa lipunan.

Sa kanyang paglilipat sa NTSB, sasailalim siya sa isang espesyal na programa ng rehabilitasyon na angkop sa kanyang pangangailangan. Layunin nito na bigyan siya ng tamang gabay at kasanayan upang makapagbagong-buhay at maging isang produktibong miyembro ng kanyang pamilya at komunidad.

Patuloy ang pagsisikap ng MSWDO at TYCIC sa layunin na magbigay ng pangangalaga, edukasyon, at rehabilitasyon sa mga kabataang nangangailangan.

Bumisita ngayon araw ang mga kinatawan mula sa Regional Trial Court Cainta Branch 143 sa pangunguna ni Hon.Maria Ella Cecilia D.Dumlao-Ecalante - Presiding Judge ,Alinsunod sa memo na inilabas ng Executive Judge na bisitahin kamustahin at i monitor ang bawat nasasakupang Youth Facility Center at isa nga ang Taytay Youth Care and Intervention Center sa mga unang binisita nila Atty.Freedom Justin Hernandez, (Branch Clerk of Court) Ms,Donnalyn Luaya at Mr.Nelson Gain (Court Staff). Sa kanilang pagtatasa ay napansin nila agad ang kaayusan,kalinisan at komportableng pasilidad para sa mga bata na nasa pangangalaga nito.Nagkaroon din ng personal na pakikipag-usap sa mga bata at masaya ang mga bisita sa kanilang mga narinig mula dito dahil panatag ang loob nila na ang mga bata ay nasa mabuting pangangalaga at higit dito ay naibibigay ng pasilidad ang tama,akma at mga naaayon na programa at serbisyo na makakatulong sa kanilang pagbabago at natitiyak na sila ay nahuhubog bilang isang batang may hinahangad na pangarap at mabuting mamamayan kapag sila ay naibalik na sa kani-kanilang pamilya. Isa sa mga adbokasiya ng Lokal na Pamahalaang Bayan ng Taytay sa pangunguna Mayor Allan De Leon Smile Taytay Team katuwang ang MSWDO Taytay, Rizal na mapanatili ang isang Child Friendly ano man ang estado nito sa buhay bilang isang batang may suliranin o batang nakakaranas ng may pang aabuso na dapat agad tugunan at protektahan.
