Mula Pebrero 16 hanggang 20, 2026, dumalo ang Municipal Tourism Development and Management Office sa Workshop on Cultural Mapping na ginanap sa Puerto Princesa City. Pinangunahan ang team ni sir Joie D. Matillano, Municipal Tourism Officer, kasama ang iba pang kinatawan ng tanggapan.

Ang nasabing workshop ay pinangunahan ng City Tourism Office of Puerto Princesa at nakatuon sa mas malalim na pag-unawa sa kahalagahan ng pagdodokumento ng mahahalagang yaman at pamanang kultural ng isang komunidad.

Taos-pusong pasasalamat at pagbati sa mga masisipag at mahuhusay na mga studyante ng Canique Senior High School sa pamumuno ni Mam Bing Lotivo at sa kanilang internship program adviser na si sir Tommy Berme, sa matagumpay na pagtatapos ng kanilang On-the-Job Training sa Municipal Tourism Development and Management Office mula Pebrero 4 hanggang Pebrero 17, 2026.

Sa loob ng dalawang linggo, ipinakita ninyo ang dedikasyon, propesyonalismo, at tunay na malasakit sa trabaho. Ang inyong kasipagan, pagiging maagap, at positibong pananaw ay naging malaking tulong sa aming tanggapan. Hindi lamang ninyo ginampanan ang inyong mga tungkulin nang maayos, kundi nag-iwan din kayo ng magandang impresyon sa bawat isa.

Nawa’y magsilbing inspirasyon ang karanasang ito sa inyong patuloy na paglalakbay tungo sa inyong mga pangarap. Dalhin ninyo ang mga aral, kasanayan, at pagpapahalagang inyong natutunan saan man kayo dalhin ng inyong landas.

Isinagawa ng Philippine Coast Guard Sub-Station Taytay, katuwang ang Municipal Tourism Development and Management Office (MTDMO), ang isang Coastal Clean-Up Drive ngayong araw, Pebrero 10, 2026, ganap na ika-7 ng umaga sa Fort Sta. Isabel (Kuta).

Layunin ng aktibidad na ito na mapanatiling malinis, ligtas, at kaaya-aya ang coastal area ng nasabing lugar, bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pangangalaga sa ating kalikasan at yamang-dagat. 🌊♻️

The Provincial Tourism Office (PTO) conducted a Tourlista orientation for owners and managers of hotel accommodations and tourist attractions, to brief them on current tourism policies, standards, and best practices.

The activity aimed to strengthen coordination among tourism stakeholders and promote quality service, safety, and compliance with tourism guidelines. Participants were also encouraged to support sustainable and responsible tourism within the municipality.

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Taytay is conducting a re-orientation for all tourist boat owners and operators to reinforce strict compliance with maritime safety protocols and operational guidelines.

This re-orientation aims to ensure that all vessels engaged in tourism-related activities meet safety standards, including vessel seaworthiness, proper use of life-saving appliances, observance of passenger capacity limits, and continuous monitoring of weather and sea conditions.

The Municipal Government of Taytay, Palawan through the Municipal Tourism Development and Management Office ( MTDMO) recognized the ODYSSA GUEST HOUSE for their consistent and timely submission of Tourlista database for Calendar Year 2025.

Your continued cooperation and commitment to data compliance have significantly contributed to accurate tourism statistics, effective planning, and the sustainable development of tourism in the Municipality of Taytay, Palawan.
