𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: 𝐀.𝐁.𝐊.𝐃. | 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐊𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

A.B.K.D. (Awareness of Bombs that Kill Lives and Destroy Properties) an awareness activity that teaches personnel what to look for, what not to do, and how to respond safely when faced with a possible bomb or explosive threat, was conducted at the jail facility on October 8, 2026, at the Sansinirangan Hall, Toledo City Jail – Male Dormitor led by 𝐏𝐂𝐌𝐒 𝐍𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐨 𝐌. 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐬𝐚, 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐒𝐌𝐒 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐥 𝐓. 𝐏𝐚𝐝𝐫𝐨, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐌𝐒𝐆 𝐑𝐨𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐄. 𝐋𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐦𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥 of the PNP Explosive Ordnance Disposal and K9 (PNP-EOD/K9) Group.

The session focused on basic knowledge about explosives, including the different types of explosives, recognizing indicators of possible explosive devices, and the proper response and safety precautions when encountering suspicious items or packages suspected to contain explosives.

The activity aims to strengthen the awareness and preparedness of jail personnel in identifying potential explosive threats and responding appropriately to help ensure the safety and security of personnel, PDL, and the jail facility.

Personnel and PDL of this jail unit came together to express their makabansa spirit, honoring the Philippine flag and reaffirming their commitment to love of country, unity, discipline, and responsible citizenship.

As we welcome Breast Cancer Awareness Month, TCJ-MD also stands in solidarity with the campaign to raise awareness, encourage early detection, and promote support for those affected by breast cancer. 🎀
