KNOW YOUR HAZARD!

06/10/2026

Goodbye, Habagat!

A gradual shift in the prevailing weather pattern has been observed over the past several days, such as the strengthening high pressure system over East Asia, the southward-migrating Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), and the notable weakening of winds and a decrease in rainfall associated with the Southwest Monsoon.

Forecasts indicate that these conditions are expected to persist in the coming days. In view of this, the Habagat season has officially ended. This also marks the termination of the rainy season over the western sections of Luzon and Visayas.

Happy Teacher’s Day to all our amazing teachers! 🎉📚❤️

Thank you for teaching us not only to read, write, and learn, but also to value life, care for others, and make responsible choices.

In every lesson you teach, you help build a safer, stronger, and more resilient community. You inspire us to be prepared, stay calm in times of crisis, help those in need, and never forget the importance of protecting every life.

Your classroom is more than a place of learning—it is a place where knowledge becomes preparedness, compassion becomes action, and education becomes a way of saving lives.

To all teachers, thank you for being educators, role models, and everyday heroes. Your lessons may end when the bell rings, but the values you teach remain with us for a lifetime.

Happy Teacher’s Day!
May you continue to inspire, empower, and prepare generations to face every challenge with courage, knowledge, and compassion.

“Teach a lesson. Inspire a life. Prepare a community. Save lives.” 🌏🫶🚨

🌤️CURRENT WEATHER UPDATE | OCTOBER 1,2026 1:00 PM
A 43°C heat index falls under the "DANGER" category, Fatigue may develop with prolonged or continuous physical activity, particularly when the body is exposed to demanding conditions such as high temperatures, strenuous workloads, or insufficient rest. As energy reserves become depleted and the body struggles to regulate its temperature and hydration levels, individuals may begin to experience signs of tiredness, reduced strength, decreased alertness, and slower reaction times.
⚠️ At this level, heat cramps and heat exhaustion are likely, while heat stroke is highly probable with prolonged exposure or physical activity.
🚫 ADVISORY:
All outdoor activities from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (1000H–1600H) are STRONGLY DISCOURAGED / PROHIBITED due to extreme heat conditions.
☀️ SAFETY TIPS:
✔️ Stay hydrated — drink plenty of water
✔️ Avoid direct sun exposure
✔️ Wear hats, caps, or use umbrellas for protection
✔️ Stay in shaded or well-ventilated areas
✔️ Limit strenuous activities
🚨 REMINDER:
Extreme heat can lead to serious health risks, including heat stroke, which is a medical emergency.
Stay safe. Stay cool. Stay hydrated. 💧
