The 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 (𝗗𝗧𝗜) 𝗟𝗲𝘆𝘁𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, through 𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗼𝘀𝘆𝗼 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗝𝗮𝗿𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗮, successfully conducted the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗝𝗮𝗿𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗠𝗦𝗠𝗘𝘀, empowering 50 MSMEs with practical knowledge and digital tools to help them adapt, innovate, and grow in today’s digital economy.

Under the stewardship of 𝗗𝗧𝗜 𝗟𝗲𝘆𝘁𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗿. 𝗙𝗮𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗩. 𝗚𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘀, 𝗝𝗿., 𝗗𝗠𝗧, 𝗗𝗧𝗜 𝗟𝗲𝘆𝘁𝗲 continues to strengthen its efforts to help MSMEs embrace digitalization, enhance their competitiveness, and take advantage of emerging digital markets and business opportunities.

The training covered digital tools, social media marketing, e-commerce, artificial intelligence (AI), e-government services, cybersecurity, and data privacy.

🔹 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗮 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝘇 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗵 introduced GCash Business Solutions, including digital payment tools such as SoundPay, which enables MSMEs to accept cashless payments and receive instant audio confirmation of successful transactions.

🔹 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮, 𝗣𝗗𝗢 𝗜𝗜 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗜𝗖𝗧, introduced the eGovPH ecosystem and provided hands-on assistance to participants in accessing digital government services.

🔹 𝗠𝘀. 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗣. 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘇, 𝗜𝗧𝗢 𝗜𝗜 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗜𝗖𝗧, demonstrated the practical use of AI for business content creation, enabling participants to create their own jingles and promotional materials. She also discussed cybersecurity and data privacy practices for businesses.

The program commenced with 𝗠𝘀. 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹 𝗡𝗶ñ𝗮 𝗩. 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗲, 𝗡𝗖 𝗧𝗜𝗗𝗦 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗧𝗜 𝗟𝗲𝘆𝘁𝗲, presenting the activity objectives and facilitating the expectation-setting session. 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗥𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗖. 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗼, who graced the activity, expressed his appreciation to DTI Leyte for bringing the digitalization training closer to MSMEs in Tunga and Jaro, emphasizing the value of digital tools in strengthening and improving local enterprises.

𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗮, 𝗡𝗖𝗧𝗦𝗦 𝗝𝗮𝗿𝗼, served as the Master of Ceremonies, facilitating the smooth flow of the activity. 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗜𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻, 𝗡𝗖𝗧𝗦𝗦 𝗧𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗮, delivered the closing message, urging participants to translate their newly acquired knowledge and skills into practical actions that can help improve their business operations.

Alam Mo Ba ang Proseso ng Business Name Cancellation?

Kung hindi na ginagamit ang inyong rehistradong business name, maaari itong ipa-cancel sa DTI upang maging maayos at updated ang inyong business name records.

✔️ Ano ang Business Name Cancellation?
Ito ay ang proseso ng boluntaryong pagpapakansela ng inyong rehistradong business name sa DTI kapag ito ay hindi na ginagamit o nais nang itigil ng may-ari.

✔️ Kailan Maaaring Magpa-Cancel?
• Pagtigil ng operasyon ng negosyo
• Hindi na paggamit ng rehistradong business name
• Paglipat sa ibang business structure o registration

✔️ Sino ang Maaaring Mag-request?
Tanging ang business name owner o kanyang awtorisadong kinatawan lamang ang maaaring magsumite ng request para sa cancellation.

💡 Tandaan:
Ang pagkansela ng business name registration ay hindi awtomatikong nagkakansela ng iba pang permits o registrations gaya ng Mayor's Permit, BIR Registration, o iba pang licenses. Kinakailangang makipag-ugnayan din sa mga kaukulang ahensya para sa kanilang cancellation procedures.

Panatilihing updated ang inyong business records upang maiwasan ang anumang abala sa hinaharap.

Alam Mo Ba ang Business Name Registration para sa Franchise?

​Kung mag-ooperate ng isang franchise business, mahalagang malaman ang tamang proseso ng Business Name (BN) Registration upang masiguro ang pagsunod sa mga alituntunin ng DTI.

​✔ Kailangan ba ng BN Registration ang Franchise?
Depende ito sa franchise agreement at sa pangalan ng negosyong gagamitin.

​✔ Kung Gagamitin ang Franchise Brand Name
Hindi na kailangang magparehistro ng business name na eksaktong kapareho ng rehistradong trademark o franchise brand name ng franchisor. Gayunpaman, maaaring kailanganin ang kaukulang dokumento o pahintulot mula sa franchisor bilang patunay ng karapatang gamitin ang brand.

​✔ Kung Magdadagdag ng Proprietary Name
Kung ang franchisee ay gagamit ng sariling proprietary name kasama ng franchise brand name, ang proprietary name ay kailangang mairehistro sa DTI.

Ang Business Name Registration ay hindi kapalit ng franchise agreement o pahintulot mula sa franchisor.

Siguraduhing mayroon kayong wastong
authorization bago gamitin ang franchise brand name sa inyong negosyo.

Yesterday, the delegation from the Department of Trade and Industry Region VIII paid a courtesy visit to Municipal Mayor Engr. Reinbert C. Costelo during the DTI Region VIII CARP Regional Project Monitoring and Validation together with Fatima MPC.

The visit highlighted the continuous collaboration and commitment of DTI Region VIII and partner stakeholders in strengthening community development and empowering local cooperatives through CARP initiatives.
