💉 NATIONAL IMMUNIZATION PROGRAM (NIP) 👶❤️

Another month, another step toward a healthier and safer community!

The National Immunization Program (NIP) was successfully conducted on September 8, 2026 at Barangay Burgos. This monthly activity provides essential immunization services and health monitoring for our young children, helping protect them from vaccine-preventable diseases.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated Tuy Rural Health Unit (RHU) team - especially to our Barangay Midwife, Mrs. Leilani Illao and Barangay Nurse, Mrs Princess Villanueva and this month's assigned Nurse and Midwife to conduct NIP - Ma'am Rosefel and Ma'am Nimfa, to all the parents and guardians who continue to support their children’s health, and of course to our dedicated Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) and Barangay Nutrition Scholar (BNS), led by our Health Committee Chairperson, Hon. Amada Villarba, for their tireless service and commitment to the health and well-being of our children. 🫶

We also extend our sincere appreciation to our Punong Barangay, Hon. Raul Callistus Medina, for his continued support of our barangay health programs.

Together, we nurture healthier children, stronger families, and a healthier Barangay Burgos! 💚

🇵🇭 FLAG RAISING CEREMONY | PAGPUPUGAY SA SERBISYO

Ngayong umaga, isinagawa ng Barangay Burgos ang regular na Flag Raising Ceremony bilang pagpapakita ng ating pagmamahal at katapatan sa bayan.

Kasabay nito, iginawad ni Punong Barangay Raul Callistus Medina kay Hon. Roderick Guevarra, Sangguniang Barangay Member, ang Certificate of Meritorious Service Award mula sa Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) bilang pagkilala sa kanyang tapat, mahusay, at makabuluhang paglilingkod bilang last-termer Barangay Official.

Ang parangal na ito ay patunay na ang bawat taon ng serbisyo ay may naiiwang magandang halimbawa at ambag para sa ating komunidad.

With grateful hearts, we extend our sincerest appreciation to the National Government's "Bawat Barangay Makikinabang" Program under the Socio-Civic Projects Fund (SCPF).
Barangay Burgos is truly honored to have received a total of ₱200,000, which has now been fully implemented for the benefit of our community.
✅ ₱100,000 was allocated for our Barangay-Identified Development Priority Project, enabling the procurement of a 3-in-1 printer, desktop computer, and projector that will enhance the delivery of public services and improve the efficiency of our barangay operations.
🎓 ₱100,000 was awarded to support five (5) incoming 4th-year college students for SY 2026 - 2027 through the Bagong Pilipinas Presidential Scholars Program, helping them continue their education and pursue their dreams.
We are deeply grateful for this meaningful assistance that strengthens both our barangay's capability to serve and our commitment to investing in the education of our youth.

Your dedication and commitment to serving our community are truly appreciated.
