Alinsunod sa Memorandum Circular No. 135 tungkol sa pagpapatupad ng Alternative Work Arrangements for Government Offices ngayong September 10, 2026, ang mga kawani ay naka-Work From Home (WFH) bilang paghahanda sa patuloy na malakas na pag-ulan dulot ng enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Dahil dito, walang isasagawang PMC Seminar ngayong araw.

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON SEPTEMBER 10

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 135, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on September 10, 2026, in anticipation of continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and the cumulative effects of prolonged rainfall:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Benguet
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Pampanga
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro
📍 Oriental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

FAMILY PLANNING CARAVAN 2026

The services continue, even through the storm! 🌧️💪

On August 18, 2026, the Valenzuela City Population Management Office (CPMO) conducted the Family Planning Caravan 2026 at Lawang Bato Events Space, in partnership with the DKT Philippines Foundation through their mobile clinic.

Despite the rainy and stormy weather, clients continued to arrive and avail themselves of essential family planning and reproductive health services. Their commitment highlights the importance of making accessible, safe, and quality family planning services available to every family.

✨ BTL (Bilateral Tubal Ligation) – 18 clients
✨ NSV (No-Scalpel Vasectomy) – 5 clients
✨ PSI Implant Removal and Insertion – 130 clients
✨ Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) – 68 clients

Through this partnership, CPMO and DKT Philippines Foundation continue to bring family planning services closer to the community—rain or shine, the service continues. 💜❤️

Because family planning services should never stop, even when the weather does. 🌧️💙

As part of the celebration of Family Planning Month 2026, the Valenzuela City Population Management Office together with the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management in Health
(DRRM-H) Unit from the City Health Office, conducted the Barangay Population Managers’ (BPMs) Forum on August 3, 2026 with the theme:

“Family Planning During Disaster: Ensuring Continuity of Reproductive Health Services in Emergencies.”

The forum highlighted the essential role of our BPMs as frontline advocates of family planning and reproductive health, especially during disasters and emergencies. It provided an opportunity to strengthen their knowledge, enhance coordination, and share practical strategies to ensure the continuity of family planning information, counseling, referrals, and services even in challenging situations.

Through the dedication of our BPMs, we continue to bring accessible, timely, and people-centered family planning services closer to every family and community in Valenzuela.

Together, we ensure that reproductive health services continue—because family planning cannot wait, even in times of crisis. 🚨
